Georgia Tech will have an important matchup with No. 12 ranked University of Notre Dame, which will likely draw a large number of visitors to campus. Below are the recruits expected to arrive at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Georgia Tech is committed to:
2025 Georgia Tech OL Kevin Peay commits – Three-star recruit returns home to see a matchup that is pivotal for his future team.
In-state hires
EDGE 4-Star Chase Linton – Linton takes OV to the flat this week and has narrowed down his list to Georgia Tech, Rutgers, and the University of Georgia. Tech companies are pursuing Linton hard and are looking to land another four-star hire.
2025 Mount Vernon RB Walker Warshaw – Senior running back has 539 rushing yards and seven touchdowns this season. He is averaging 90 yards per game.
2025 Norcross WR Alex Garnett – Senior receiver had 12 catches for 186 yards and one touchdown. He plays for the Blue Devils, who are 7-1 this season and are aiming for a state title.
2026 Walton TE/DE Jude Cascone – Cascone played on both sides of the ball for the Raiders and has been courted by numerous colleges. Georgia State, Georgia Tech and Ohio State have offered him. Although he has been plagued by injuries this season, he continues to make an impact on the field.
2026 Parkview ATH Brant Williams – Williams played a big role for the Panthers, recording 16 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns this season. His best game was against West Forsyth, where he had six catches for 106 yards and one touchdown.
2026 Valdosta WR Prince Jean – The junior receiver will likely receive more offers after the season. He is dynamic in open spaces. He had 25 catches for 339 yards and three touchdowns. He holds offers from Kent State, Virginia, USF, and more.
2026 Lovejoy LB Chad Fairchild – The Lovejoy product has offers from across the ACC and from South Carolina. He’s a highly coveted linebacker in this country. He continues to improve his game and is having a good season with the Wildcats.
2026 Landmark Christian QB Skylar Hamilton – Hamilton threw 16 touchdowns this season. He is having a breakout season for Landmark Christian, leading the team to a 6-2 record. He is also a great player in the run game with his legs.
2026 Thomason DB Kennedy Bailey – Bailey is an outstanding defensive back who has good football sense and consistently makes big plays. He transferred from Westlake and continues to improve his game.
2027 Grayson DL Waylon Wooten – Part of a loaded and outstanding 2027 Grayson class. The Rams have excellent defensive linemen who are being developed at a high level by coach Greg Carswell. Carswell has made a name for itself defensively by developing high-end talent each year. Look for Wooten to be another big name for Grayson.
2027 Northeast-Macon DB Keiland Miley- As a sophomore, he recorded 22 tackles, two forced fumbles, and one pass deflection. Miley has had a huge impact on the Raiders’ defense this season and has taken advantage of his opportunities.
2027 Pace Academy ATH Brandon Nolley – This will be Nolley’s second visit this season to watch a Yellow Jackets game. At the prep level, Nolley has great instincts and excels in run defense making tackles and forcing stops. He is still developing and has a bright future ahead of him.
2027 ATH London Goggans – Goggans is a lot of fun to watch, but we’ve only scratched the surface of his potential. He hasn’t seen much on the field for the Rams this season, but he will be an integral part of Grayson’s defense in the future. He has perfect ball skills and high IQ. He has offers from Auburn, USF and Arkansas State.
2028 Collins Hill WR Isaiah Rutledge – A young, dynamic playmaker for the Eagles who has yet to play for the varsity team, but will definitely get more playing time at Collins Hill next year. He’s someone I’d like to keep an eye on in the future.
Hires from out of state:
2026 Charlotte Christian (NC) ATH Lindell Porter JR- Porter JR already had a breakout game against Providence Day, finishing with 18 tackles, one forced fumble, and one interception. What stands out is his versatility. Charlotte Christian had Porter Jr. move all over the field, playing deep safety, blitzing in the box, and faking coverage. He is an elite back end and could be a huge addition to the Yellow Jackets.
2027 Hewitt-Trussville Edge Dante Shields – Recorded 22 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 QB hurries, and 1 forced fumble. Shields has taken advantage of his opportunities on defense this season and wreaked havoc on opposing offenses.
2027 Tampa Catholic ATH EJ Douglas- Douglas has played a lot on the defensive end for Tampa Catholic this season. He has 12 tackles and one forced fumble for the Crusaders this season. He is expected to carve out a bigger role as his career progresses.
