Check out the companies making the biggest pre-market moves: Alphabet — Google’s parent company fell 1% after its subsidiary lost a European antitrust case and the court upheld Google’s 4.1 billion euro ($4.67 billion) fine. The fine is based on a 2018 decision by the European Commission to punish Google for what it deemed to be anticompetitive behavior in giving an unfair advantage to its own applications in Android products. Bending Spoons — Shares of the Italian technology company fell 7% after its public market debut on Wednesday. The stock is up about 40% from Wednesday’s IPO level. AeroVironment — The defense technology company rose 4% after winning a $500 million contract with the U.S. Army. The contract is to develop anti-drone capabilities for the military. Palantir — Shares rose more than 3% after Attorney Davidson upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy. Analysts at the company also said they believe the stock’s valuation is the most attractive going forward. The stock was on pace to end the shortened trading week up more than 15%. Strategy, Coinbase — The stock has been on the rise as Bitcoin prices have climbed above $61,000, and is now on pace for a total gain of 4.5% in two days. Cryptocurrency treasury firm Strategy rose 6% and trading platform Coinbase rose more than 3%. Robinhood — Bitcoin’s rise wasn’t the only thing contributing to Robinhood’s gains in pre-market trading Thursday, as analysts at Mizuho raised their price target on Robinhood stock to $130. Analysts said Robinhood has an opportunity to become a “hyperscaler” among online brokerages, pointing to the possibility of gaining advantages across national borders rather than within a single country. Memory stocks — Shares of a number of companies fell on Wednesday as the second quarter began and investors took profits, but fell again on Thursday. SanDisk fell more than 10% on Wednesday and was down 3.5% in premarket trading Thursday. Western Digital and Seagate Technology fell 2.5% after their stocks fell 6% and 5%, respectively, on Wednesday.
