Zillow on Thursday announced the launch of a new platform, campaign and tagline called “Someday Starts Today” that is “designed to support people at every stage of their homecoming journey.”
With the goal of “evolving the way we present ourselves as a brand,” Zillow on Thursday announced the launch of a new platform and campaign under the tagline “Someday starts today,” according to a statement from the portal. According to a statement from the portal, it is “designed to support people at every stage of their journey home, from those who are ready to move now to those who are just imagining what is still possible.”
Zillow, which debuted during the Grammy Awards broadcast on February 1, calls the changes a “strategic extension of Zillow’s brand approach” designed to support people who are actively on the move and build confidence in future movers.
“Everyone’s journey home looks different, but progress is what moves us forward,” said Beverly W. Jackson, vice president of brand and product marketing at Zillow. “Someday Starts Today reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are and recognizing every step forward, because even the smallest progress matters.”
In an announcement, Zillow acknowledged the “affordability challenges and economic uncertainty” that have changed buyer behavior and said the new campaign seeks to speak to “the in-between moments” — the “viewing, planning, and dreaming” that it calls “a meaningful part of the journey home” and “initial expressions of intent” rather than passive actions.
“For Zillow, this campaign reflects our broader belief that brand leadership in today’s housing market means understanding where consumers are emotionally, not just transactionally,” the statement said.
According to a recent NAR report, affordability is a major hurdle for buyers across the country, especially as the median age for first-time homebuyers has risen from the late 20s in the 1980s to a record high of 40 by 2025.
