I like how both RuPaul and Spider-Man’s uncle Ben say, “There’s a great deal of power and great responsibility.” Over the past few years, we have seen many bad behavior from people in the leadership of the National Association of Realtors and individual brokerage companies.
At the same time, leadership people stepped up to move forward with the best faces, seeking change as needed, and taking charge in challenging circumstances.
This week, the drama at a Las Vegas real estate agent continued to unfold. This is because the group’s former CEO rebels against allegations of election tampering that ultimately led to her dismissal.
After the end of January as CEO of a Las Vegas real estate agent amid allegations, Wendy Di Becchio filed a lawsuit against the organization, saying he was inappropriately fired.
According to Divecchio, the investigation and termination continued on what she called “disagreements” between herself and the LVR board, and her relationship with her owned and controlled MLS.
The former CEO alleged that her reputation was irreparably damaged after the board leaked details of the investigation before the board reached a conclusion.
Giving the people you are leading a positive vision and speaking your mind about the topic of the day are two ways that leaders can actively move forward, inspire and move forward . Some of Inman’s contributors are many powerhouse players who regularly provide insights and opinions.
Check out these three stories from this week and continue looking at OP-ED, Q&AS, and all other ways to highlight what great leadership looks like.
