Jason Waugh, currently president of Coldwell Banker Affiliates, will return to HomeServices first with an enterprise focus before assuming the role of HSF Affiliates CEO next year.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ franchise division has named a top executive from a competitor as its next leader.
Coldwell Banker Affiliates President Jason Waugh will rejoin HomeServices of America to replace HSF Affiliates CEO Vince Leisey, the company announced in a statement. The transition is scheduled to begin in 2027.
Waugh will initially join HomeServices in a separate capacity, working on the company’s enterprise initiatives, including the company’s insurance division, according to the announcement. Leisey will continue to lead HSF Affiliates until the transition takes place.
Mr. Waugh led Prudential Northwest Real Estate prior to its acquisition by HomeServices and later served as president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate. He retired as president of Coldwell Banker Affiliates, a role he continues to hold today.
“Jason brings a rare combination of brokerage leadership, franchise expertise and enterprise perspective that will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen and grow our network,” HomeServices of America President and CEO Chris Kelly said in a statement.
Following the transition, Mr. Lisey will become chairman of HSF Affiliates, while continuing to serve as CEO of network brokerage firm Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ambassador Real Estate, the company said.
“I remain committed to leading this network and building on today’s momentum,” Reasy said in a statement. “At the same time, this transition is always aimed at positioning the network for long-term success. Jason brings the franchise network experience, perspective and leadership needed for what comes next.”
Waugh said in a statement that he is honored to return to HomeServices and looks forward to “supporting our franchisees during the transition and continuing to grow together.”
