How to draw dinosaurs step by step
Below are 10 easy-to-understand steps to teach children how to draw dinosaurs. They need to simplify the process for children of all ages and abilities.

Step 1
Once you have prepared the paper and a permanent black marker, turn the paper horizontally and get ready to draw! You’ll want to start by drawing the dinosaur eyes a little to the left in the center on the paper. Create an upside down V shape, then create a small one inside. Shade everything except the white sliver, which serves as dinosaur students.

Step 2
It begins to form the top of the dinosaur head. One long line and bend remaining from the top V shape form the dinosaur’s nose. Draw another short line from the right side of the top V shape. Next, lower the line a little below the nose. Add small nostrils too!

Step 3
Let’s start to form the shape of your mouth. Start at the bottom of your nose and draw a horizontal S-shaped shape that comes a little further ahead of your eyes. Next, draw a line that bends halfway down your nose to finish.

Step 4
This step starts when the last one is finished. Draw a curve that connects the bottom of the mouth up just below where the eyes begin. Next, draw the bottom of Dino’s head as a line with two curves that end up in the upward direction.

Step 5
Now we add some details to the dinosaur’s mouth and help make him a little more ferocious! Add a line to the inner corner of the mouth to form a small triangle. Add some triangles lined up at the top and bottom of the mouth so that Dino can have a beautiful chopper. Finally, add a line from the small inner triangle to the center of the bottom of the mouth.

Step 6
Now let’s start drawing that body! First, I start by drawing a very narrow neck away from the bottom left of my head. Remove one of the infamous little T-Rex arms from his neck, and draw a slightly larger arm slightly down. The second arm is painted large, so there is an illusion there that it is on the front of it. From there, you start building your body. It should line up with the side of the neck, but it’s a little wider.

Step 7
It’s time to start washing out the rest of Dino’s body. It comes out from the top left of the head, bend, then run down, then up again, and form the beginning of the tail and tail.

Step 8
Dino’s legs in the foreground begin as the shape of a C that extends into Dino’s body and descends to form his legs. The feet have two pointy toes on a short horizon that reflects the first one. The legs behind the background are small, with feet higher than the others. It should start under Dino’s body, between the front arm and the larger rear legs.

Step 9
Next, connect the tip of the tail to the bottom of Dino’s body. The bottom row should line up at the outer edge of Dino’s body between his arms and legs. Another row should mirror one just inside the other.

Step 10
You could add the same details inside Dino’s body shown here, but also a bit more personalised. If you want to recreate this Dino, you can add an upside-down triangle up and down along the top of Dino’s head, back and tail. You can also add several triangles along the legs of the foreground.
