EARLESVILLE, Va. – The Hokies continued their 2024 cross country season Saturday morning at the Panorama Farms Invitational, hosted by Virginia.
The Panorama Farms Invitational featured 18 men’s and 14 women’s programs with 203 men and 134 women competing.
George Coutee was the Hokies’ top male finisher in his Tech debut, posting a time of 23:16.0 with an average of 4:40 per mile and a new personal best in the 8K by 24 seconds. Nikolas Kipchirchir also finished in the top 10 with a time of 23:29.2, averaging 4:43 per mile.
Sharon Chepchirchir led the women’s program, finishing 10th with an average mile of 5:36 and a personal best 6K of 20:53.6. Following Cheptircil was Katie Boelke, who posted a 20:57.0 in her first 6K performance, averaging a mile of 5:36.
