Ms. Reu-Narvaez will lead the People Enablement Team, overseeing recruitment and retention, professional and organizational development, and culture building across Compass’ nine brands and four Transfer, Title & Clearance, Lead, and Insurance businesses.
Leu Narvaez spent 24 years in a similar role at Anywhere, where she served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources until her promotion to Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2021.
“We believe that everyone matters at this company,” she said in a prepared statement. “Because our real estate professionals are on one platform, the people they interact with – the people who support their learning, greet them in the office and answer their questions – are what make this company truly special and agent-centric.”
“Ultimately, we are invested in the success of every agent and broker we serve,” she added.
In addition to his work at Anywhere, Reu Narváez also serves on the boards of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and the Asian Real Estate Association (AREAA). She is also the inaugural recipient of the NAHREP Ernest J. Reyes Founder’s Award and a recipient of HousingWire’s “Top 20 Influential Women in Housing” and Business Insider’s “25 HR Leaders Building the World’s Most Innovative and Inclusive Workplaces.”
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Tanya lead our People Enablement team,” said Robert Refkin, Chairman and CEO of Compass International Holdings. “She knows that real estate is a people business and has the vision and experience to make every employee feel empowered. That energy will ripple throughout the company and help real estate professionals be more successful.”
Reu Narváez is the latest in a string of former Compass and Anywhere leaders to join Compass International Holdings. Others include company veteran Rory Gorod, who has been named president of growth, and Anywhere veteran Sue Yanacone, who has been named chief operating officer.
Former Compass executives Tim Gustafson and Shay Artzi have been moved to executive accounting and technical positions at the holding company, respectively. Compass also promoted longtime leader Neda Navab to brokerage president as part of Levkin’s move to head Compass International Holdings.
