“The creation of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Realty Connect strengthens our presence in a key multi-state region,” BHGRE President Ginger Wilcox said in a media statement. “Affiliated agents in these markets will have access to unique insights and consumer touchpoints that will better serve their customers, leveraging the benefits of a brand built around people’s lives.”
BHGRE Realty Connect’s footprint spans 22 offices in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with the former Realty Connect USA and BHGRE Dream Properties based on Long Island, and BHGRE Maturo based in South Jersey.
Maturo founders Albert Faiola and Frank Stimiloski will lead all BHGRE Connect operations, while COO Steve Deans will oversee the company’s New Jersey market.
“When Frank and I started our business, our goal was to build a multi-state brokerage firm and we have remained focused on that from the beginning,” Faiola said in a written statement. “Thanks to the unwavering support of the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand, we have been able to expand our footprint and offer unique, lifestyle-focused services to more people and more communities.”
Meanwhile, Dream Properties founders Ale Kayserlioglu and Fred Bollinger will partner with the Realty Connect USA team (Michael Ardolino, John Fitzgerald, Bert Caffarella and Fern Kalf) to oversee the integrated brokerage firm’s New York presence.
“We are proud of what we have built as Long Island’s leading independent brokerage firm,” Fitzgerald said in a prepared statement. “As the real estate industry continues to evolve, this move provides strong support to our affiliated agents and positions us for long-term development.”
Mr. Caffarella added, “Long Island makes up a large portion of New York State’s population, and we believe there is a clear opportunity to expand our market share and further support the success of our affiliated agents. Partnering with the Better Homes and Gardens real estate brand strengthens our ability to connect with consumers drawn to the region’s unique balance of proximity to Manhattan and more than 400 miles of coastline.”
