Lower has officially launched Movoto Advantage, a program that connects vetted agents with buyers and sellers. The company conducted a limited rollout in the fall of 2025.
Lower, the fast-growing housing finance company that acquired Movoto last year, has launched a new referral program. The program, aptly named Movoto Advantage, connects select agents with home buyers and home sellers in the market.
The application process begins with a questionnaire about the aspect and volume of your business, what markets you serve, whether you’re part of a team, and which zip code you’d like to receive leads from. Lower caps the number of agents that can accept leads in a given zip code, so there is no guarantee that an agent will receive a first pick.
The monthly cost of Movoto Advantage varies depending on the number of leads an agent wants to receive. In an email to Mr. Inman, the company explained that agents will also be paid a 35% success fee upon closing.
Lower sends leads via text, and once an agent accepts the lead, a member of the Lower team connects the agent and home buyer or home seller with a three-way call. A subordinate team member then ends the call, allowing the agent and consumer to discuss their transactional needs. From there, agents can track leads through the Movoto Advantage dashboard.

“Top real estate agents should be set up to successfully connect with consumers and not be put in situations where they degrade their products or make consumers feel like they are being spammed,” John Berkowitz, president of real estate at Rohwer, said in a written statement. “Movoto Advantage was built by listening to both serious buyers and sellers seeking expertise and top agents looking to build sustainable businesses.”
“By equipping great agents with real conversations with willing buyers and sellers, and giving those consumers the support they need to navigate their transactions, we are building an ecosystem that works better for everyone,” he added.
Agents and their customers can also opt-in to Lower Connect, which pairs them with a Lower loan officer. A loan officer will guide you through the mortgage process from pre-approval to closing.
Lower quietly began rolling out Movoto Advantage in late 2025, onboarding more than 200 agents. The company doubled its growth in the first quarter with “thousands of consumer referrals.”
“The traditional buying experience has too many friction points that sideline qualified buyers,” Lower CEO Dan Snyder said in a written statement. “Movoto Advantage is a direct reflection of how we think about homeownership at Lower. When agents and lenders work together in one ecosystem, barriers disappear and buyers have real momentum moving forward. That’s how we begin to close the gap between wanting and owning a home.”
