background
With over 50 years of experience, RE/MAX is a leader in the real estate industry and an enormous global organization. RE/MAX has transformed and influenced the way real estate is bought and sold in Europe and around the world.
With over 30,000 agents in Europe, RE/MAX is a synonym for success and a great real estate business practice. The Re/Max Europe network is constantly growing. The answer to this growth is to invest in new techniques and advanced training with the knowledge and skills to provide outstanding customer service to RE/MAX agents and focus on the needs of their customers.
Effective communication with clients across over 250 deliverables was the cornerstone of success as we navigated the complexity of eLearning Development projects using both traditional and agile components. It is a practical tool that adjusts expectations, adapts to changes, and provides results that resonate with current needs and goals.

Challenge
For most customers, buying and selling real estate is an emotional decision that has a major impact on their lives. Realtors play a pivotal role in this moment and are key to ensuring that the process is professional and enjoyable for each customer.
Re/Max Europe recognized the need to improve emerging technologies, customer expectations, and the demand for agents to change the market, as well as the need to improve existing training and provide new training methods. This has reestablished RE/Max Europe as a leader in innovation and a company focused on professionalism, training and success.
RE/MAX Europe is located in over 40 European countries, with over 30,000 agents. To meet the market situation and continue to provide superior service to our clients, new agent training needs to evolve to provide the best possible customer experience. This means ensuring client satisfaction in the context of real estate transactions and taking service to a new level.
All RE/MAX agents have the opportunity to participate in numerous live events, both online and offline, as well as local and local workshops, allowing them to learn about new real estate trends, build skills and connect with their colleagues. However, the basic training of new agents is primarily hosted as face-to-face workshops, presenting challenges in terms of high cost, accessibility, time and travel efforts among other factors.
Additionally, RE/Max Europe produces training content in English. This should be localized in all regions on your network, tailored to your local language and habits.
The answer to this set of challenges was the digitization of existing new agent training materials and the creation of a digital, translatable programme suitable for new agents participating in the network. Digital training solutions provide on-demand support to all agents, regardless of where they can be accessed and adapted to their schedules at any time. This latest approach also allows agents to keep up with the latest technologies and implement them faster in their work.
The challenge was to create a creative course that included effective storytelling and interactive exercises to successfully transfer the required knowledge and attract learners to the fullest. This was achieved through efficient collaboration with RE/MAX small and medium-sized businesses.

Solved
Re/Max Europe has chosen Ewyse as a trusted partner for this important large-scale project. Ewyse’s experience providing balanced blended learning has led to the determination of various best practices from both worlds and creating solutions tailored to the needs of the project and client.
The project lasted for a year and required excellent communication, project coordination and planning from both sides. Milestones, processes, and project management documents were established at the start of the project, adjusted as the project progressed, and received input from the project managers in Ewyse and RE/Max Europe.
We used blended learning approaches, including e-learning courses, face-to-face workshops and webinars to provide quality training to our agents and achieve the best results. The interactive in-person workshop was created by RE/MAX Europe trainers, but the digital aspect of the training was co-created by both parties, creating a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for new real estate agents participating in the network.
Working closely with experienced subject experts of Re/Max Europe and Ewyse learning architects, a digital knowledge base was established for all European agents. The raw materials were provided to Ewyse and after a thorough need analysis, the project’s goals and curriculum were set and designed along with some feedback rounds and inputs.
Working closely with RE/MAX Europe subject experts, over 200 deliverables (eLearning Courses, In-person Training, Webinars) and support documents were co-written to teach new agents how to follow RE/MAX Europe best practices and build the sales skills they need to close their first deal. Interactive and practical content was included in eLearning courses and other deliverables, including use case scenarios, storytelling, engaging exercises, and learning from experience. Structured and useful training will impact your career and allow agents to set their own career goals.
Includes a revamp of the training program.
Exchange outdated information from existing training, rely on new methods, integrate information, present it in an interactive and engaging way. Implementation of the latest technology aimed at providing the best possible user experience and easy access to training via the LMS platform. Modify existing real estate practices by setting new standards focusing on sales culture and customer expectations according to modern customer and market trends and demands. Motivate agents to recognize the value of continuing education and promote growth and development. Establish a new visual identity with all educational materials, presentations, and other materials that agents prepare for their work.
In addition to the Master English version, all deliverables have been translated and localized in six different languages to make training even more accessible in the largest RE/MAX European region. The translation was a joint effort made by the Re/Max region, Re/Max Europe and Ewyse. Supported by input from the Re/Max region, Ewyse had the rigorous task of adapting the course by localizing the e-learning course and adjusting the content to the value and culture of the target audience. Coordination with the region and with many stakeholders also required structured work, attention to detail, and thorough quality control from the Ewyse education designers, RE/MAX Europe and RE/MAX regions.
The project was exciting and challenging from the beginning to the end – from coming up with design ideas for the first pilot course to finalizing the final localized course variant. I think the entire Ewyse team has learned a lot about the importance of great communication and creative collaboration with clients.

Respecting deadlines, feedback processes and implementation of the 3C framework, excellent and frequent communication from both sides contributed to the success of the project. The focus on teamwork, mutual respect, and quality has led to the development of high-quality training and the use of the latest technologies (such as 360-degree images).
The digital training program has enabled Re/Max Europe to once again position itself as an industry pioneer and further improve its business processes.
Some of the benefits of the project are:
Development of new approaches to training new real estate agents. Providing first-class services to clients and developing long-term, high-quality relationships, spreading awareness of the most important RE/MAX values. Reduce the costs of live training and events, and reduce long-term benefits from digitalized content (there are the possibility of developing training in other languages, allowing long-term access to many agents in seven languages). Additional cost savings – Easy to produce new training materials or upgrade existing courses and are based on designs that are easily uploaded to the LMS platform. Keep up with market changes and learn on the go, without the need to organize live training.
Working with talented e-learning experts to co-create an interactive and engaging SCORM course was an exciting opportunity for me. Once an effective workflow was established, we were able to create an impressive amount of educational material for our network. It is currently used by thousands of European agents in their local languages.
