Multi-billion dollar indie brokerage firm Legacy Real Estate & Associates has joined real estate experts ERA Powered, an affiliate of Silicon Valley-based ERA Real Estate.

Legacy Real Estate & Associates has rebranded as Legacy Real Estate Experts ERA Powered, serving buyers and sellers throughout the Bay Area. Bill Abumrad Sr. founded the company in 1971 and handed it over to his son Bill Abumrad Jr. in 1992. In the 34 years since he took over, Abumrad has grown the brokerage to more than 300 agents across three offices in San Francisco and the East Bay.
The company consistently achieves annual sales of $1 billion and has earned several accolades, including six consecutive RISMedia Newsmaker Awards from the San Francisco Chronicle, RISMedia, and RealTrends.

“This is a strategic, values-aligned partnership, not a traditional real estate acquisition. The partnership marks Legacy Real Estate & Associates’ return to ERA, with Abumrad partnering with the Compass International Holdings (CIH) brand in 2013 at the beginning of the ERA Powered Brands model.
