Enhanced cybersecurity and edge computing
The partnership also includes plans to integrate Google Threat Intelligence into Honeywell’s cybersecurity products, including Global Analysis, Research and Defense (GARD) Threat Intelligence and Secure Media Exchange (SMX). This integration is intended to enhance threat detection and protect the global infrastructure of industrial customers.
Honeywell is considering using Google’s Gemini Nano model to enhance the intelligence of edge AI devices across a variety of use cases. This development will allow devices to operate without an internet connection, potentially leading to a new wave of more intelligent devices and solutions.
