Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will hold a rally in Michigan tonight as they look to win over voters in a key battleground state.
Trump is speaking in Detroit, where his microphone broke. The former president had to walk around the stage for more than 15 minutes, occasionally waving to attendees.
“I’m not going to pay the bill to the stupid company that lent me this crap,” he said.
Before the audio error, President Trump had told supporters that his Democratic opponent was “totally incompetent” and that he would “save” the city. Meanwhile, Harris is speaking in Oakland County. According to the latest Emerson College poll, the two candidates are tied in key battleground states with just over two weeks until Election Day.
Also tonight, former President Barack Obama is campaigning in Tuscon, Arizona, on behalf of the Vice President.
Ahead of tonight’s rally, the former president called Judge Tanya Chutkan “the most evil person” following the release of new evidence in the case against him on January 6th, on special Jack Smith He labeled the prosecutor a “sick puppy.”
President Trump called the lawsuits against him “terrible” and “election interference” as he presses charges in Washington and Georgia over his efforts to overturn his 2020 defeat.
