Tomorrow’s Blue Economy World Conference is a global summit dedicated to promoting and developing the potential of the blue economy. After celebrating its previous edition within the framework of the Smart Cities Expo World Congress, the event will be held again from 5 to 7 November 2024 with an expanded program dedicated to the promotion of this important sector.
The blue economy is particularly important for coastal cities, as it is a major driver of job creation and promotes sustainable practices in the use of marine resources, which in turn promotes healthier marine ecosystems.
However, cities face different challenges in developing the blue economy as they need to invest in data collection to inform decision-making and develop strategies to manage competing interests.
With unprecedented political, economic and climate challenges at hand, there is an increasing need to accelerate the green transition. This is perhaps especially true in the case of the blue economy, which is completely intertwined with the ocean. The ocean is a natural resource with enormous potential, but years of exploitation have left it devastated.
Tomorrow Blue World Blue Economy Congress brings together experts and companies that are making history in the field to explore the interconnectedness of the environment, society, and economy through a multidisciplinary approach to innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and education. It is intended to show.
