Check out the companies making the biggest pre-market moves: Memory stocks — After chipmaker CXMT made its public market debut in Shanghai, its stock price rose significantly, with its stock price soaring more than 466%. This momentum was carried over to listed memory names in the United States. SK Hynix rose 4.7% and SanDisk rose 3.6%. Micron Technology rose 2.5%. Energy stocks — The group followed oil prices lower after the U.S. and Iran agreed to suspend attacks on each other for the time being. Chevron and ExxonMobil fell 2.7% and 3.2%, respectively. APA, Devon Energy and Diamondback Energy all fell about 4%. Forte Biosciences — The biotech stock rose more than 39% on news that the company will be acquired by Netherlands-based Argenx for $2.2 billion in cash, or $77 per share. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter and represents a 40% premium to Forte’s closing price of $54.78 on Friday. Argenx’s U.S.-listed shares fell slightly in premarket. Baker Hughes — Shares rose about 2.2% in premarket trading after Baker Hughes announced second-quarter profits and sales that beat expectations. Chief Executive Officer Lorenzo Simonelli said in a statement that the company expects to reach the midpoint of its full-year forecast thanks to “favorable underlying fundamentals as we continue to operate through the uncertainties in the Middle East.” Amkor Technology — Shares rose more than 2.4% as the semiconductor packaging and testing provider is scheduled to report quarterly numbers after the bell. D-Wave Quantum — The company announced a partnership with AT&T on Monday, with plans to use annealing quantum computers to boost the telecom giant’s AI efforts. DWave shares rose more than 7%.
