Head Coach Brent Pry
Opening statement:
“Once again, I want to thank our fans. I can’t thank them enough. It was a great environment at Lane Stadium on Thursday night, and we don’t want to take that for granted in our program. We are very grateful.”We would also like to thank the many people who were fortunate enough to be involved in the preparation, organization and administration of the match. It’s not just the coach of our football team. Thank you everyone. Not many programs can promote two No. 1 picks on the sideline of a football game. This is a great opportunity for us. Please do that. ”
On Antoine Powell-Ryland’s destructive playmaking as a pass rusher:
“Yeah, I’m not surprised. I think his skill set, the way he approaches his craft and the emphasis we put on that. The quarterback’s rushing history here at Virginia Tech. , I think the history of this organization is rushing.”The quarterback is part of the player we need and he’s definitely done a great job, but that’s not what we need to play here.” It also has something to do with the quality of his defense. I’m going to spend a year here at Virginia Tech. ”
