Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability assessments, building a global network of over 100,000 assessed companies.
To further its mission to improve sustainability practices around the world, EcoVadis has partnered with Learning Pool to build an accessible and impactful learning experience that helps companies understand and act on their sustainability scorecard.

EcoVadis has reviewed over 1.6 million companies, with over 100,000 companies rated across over 175 countries and over 200 industries.
As a leading sustainability rating system, EcoVadis needed a way to help organizations not only interpret their rating results, but also improve their sustainability performance in key areas such as environment, ethics, labor and human rights, and sustainable sourcing.
To do this, the team identified 27 topic areas aligned with the EcoVadis scorecard to provide targeted guidance and actionable steps. For example, if a company’s scorecard highlights “ethics” weaknesses due to restrictive whistleblowing policies, learners are directed to specific modules on building fairer and more transparent practices.

EcoVadis needed a learning solution that was lightweight, scalable, and accessible worldwide. Developed using Articulate Rise and hosted via a learning management system (LMS), EcoVadis Academy provides a seamless single sign-on experience directly from the EcoVadis platform, creating a one-click journey from scorecard to learning.
The course is structured as microlearning chapters (5-10 minutes each) designed to fit the schedules of busy professionals while also providing practical, actionable advice.
The academy was co-developed with Learning Pool through an agile operating model, creating approximately one hour of new content each week from spring 2021 through the end of the year. Collaboration with EcoVadis’ learning designers and Learning Pool’s creative team ensured consistency, fast delivery, and strong brand alignment.
