Many things change throughout your career, but the challenges are always there. Executive Coach Muriel Wilkins helps leaders at all levels address the leadership hurdles they face in today’s work world. She returned with a new season of coaching real leaders and took us into real life executive coaching conversations.
Listen to the new season of Coaching Real Leaders starting April 7th.
Muriel Wilkins: There will be many changes as you go through your career. Get new titles, join different organizations and take more responsibility. But one thing remains constant. There are always challenges. That’s where I come in.
Speaker 1: I was only here for a short time compared to the people around me. I’m trying to understand how I’m viewed as a leader in the work I have.
Speaker 2: I’m a little tired. I felt like I was firing all the cylinders and I had these amazing superpowers and got a great recognition. And I don’t feel like I have those superpowers anymore. I think… this is a scary thing to say, but am I past my peak?
Speaker 3: I often come across it very young. It can sometimes be true and incorrect as true informal and you know about yourself. And I fight it from time to time. Because I really have an executive presence…for me, the way I interpreted it is that it reflects the person you are in front of people.
Speaker 4: I realized the need to change and I realized that I was like I was doing everything for everyone, waiting. As I lead this company, I look like I’m cleaning up everyone’s stuff.
Muriel Wilkins: I’m Muriel Wilkins, a leadership coach. My show coaching real leaders are back with an all new season of coaching conversations with all different types of leaders facing all different types of hurdles. Get an internal look as I will help them deal with their professional challenges and apply these lessons to your own career. The new episodes begin on April 7th. Don’t miss any of Season 9, where you review reviews, reviews on your favorite podcast app and coach real leaders.
