How did you get started with real estate?
In 2008, I recognized a huge gap in the market. Many Mexican investors lost a significant amount of money due to lack of knowledge about how to effectively invest in the US and Texas real estate markets. The market was challenging, but I saw this as an opportunity to make a real impact.
I was dedicated to helping these investors navigate the complexities of real estate investments and provided the guidance I desperately needed. I started holding seminars in Mexico and taught business owners how to make real estate investments a success.
Despite the harsh market environment, I have carved out my niche by providing valuable insights when others retreat. My focus was to make informed strategic decisions for investors that ultimately lead to long-term success.
Do you want more people to know about working in real estate?
I hope more people know that real estate is not just about buying and selling. It’s about building relationships, understanding the market and managing risks. Success requires patience, strategic thinking and continuous learning. It is an area with many legal and financial details and can be challenging without proper guidance.
What is your top prediction for 2025?
We are confident that luxury San Antonio real estate will see significant growth in 2025. As property continues to improve and buyers become more and more selective, cities stand out as a major destination.
Unlike other high-end markets, San Antonio offers an exceptional combination of quality and affordable prices, making it a very attractive option for those looking for a luxurious life. The unique blend of value and refinement makes San Antonio poised to become one of the most popular places in luxury real estate.
What will make you a good leader?
A great leader inspires and guides others towards a shared vision while fostering trust and collaboration. Key features include clear communication, empathy, integrity, adaptability, and determinism. They motivate, empower, take accountability, promote growth and foster teamwork. Ultimately, great leaders bring the best to others and promote collective success.
What do you want all agents to know?
One thing that every agent knew was the power of empathy in all interactions. Whether you handle everyday inquiries or challenging situations, genuine listening and understanding of the customer’s perspective can change your experience.
Empathy isn’t just about solving problems. It’s about making the customers feel sounded, appreciated and supported. When agents approach the conversation with kindness and patience, they not only solve problems effectively, but also build trust and loyalty.
Small gestures can leave a lasting impression, such as acknowledging someone’s frustration or celebrating excitement, and create connections that go beyond the deal. At the end of the day, people remember how you made you feel. Being empathetic not only helps customers, but also promotes a more fulfilling and rewarding experience for agents.
