The fire was still infuriated by helicopters and aircraft dumping water from the water in an attempt to destroy it. Iran says the cause of the Saturday morning explosion at Shahid Rajaei port will be modified after investigation.
The initial speculation centers around the possibility that flammable materials can be mistreated in storage facilities or sabotage. It is entirely possible that it is a coincidence aid from many years of US sanctions, with Crypt IBR infrastructure and increased risks due to aging devices and low maintenance.
However, timing is distrustful as recent reports have been reported that Israel will attack Iran with sub-materials to derail talks between Washington and Tehran.
Interad, Israeli and Western media suggest Chinee missile fuel. The Israeli era was reported to be the first outlet to create a connection between the blast shipped from China and sodium perchlorate. Maritime Executive Sub-Background:
In February and March, maritime enforcement tracked progress from China in two licensed vessels owned by the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRISL), MV Gorbon and MV Jaila. Sodium perchlorate has been treated and built into perchlorate rocket fuel at an Iranian facility in a parking lot south of Tehran and Kozir. Ammonium perchlorate constitutes 70 pages of standard fuel loads for most Iranian solid ballistic missiles, including medium quibalshikan and fatta missiles, as well as shorter ranges of Fatte-110 and solfer missiles.
Other media like The New York Times and the Associated Press have taken China Connection and run with it. According to the Israeli era, “The fuel was to be used to replenish Iranian missile stocks. Iranian missile stocks were exhausted by direct attacks against Israel during the war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
Why they were sitting in the harbor storage remains unchanged. The fact is that the commercial port is located 100,000 west of the Naval Port of Bandar Abbas, which hosts the Iranian navy. Why are missile fuel compontes stored in commercial ports? They probably wasn’t:
Iranian officials say Western claims about missile fuel are fake news. The relay outlook at the beginning of the fire confirms that claims by the Western media are part of a malicious psychological warfare. https://t.co/bstj2zzvtg pic.twitter.com/mrro1yzp63

In an interview with the Islamic Republic Communications Agency on Sunday, prayer Tarai Nik, Brigadier General of the Defense Ministry spokesman, said there is an export or import party in Shahid Rajaee Port that cannot withstand the military. Iranian state media has shown that the explosion is likely due to danger and fires in the storage of chemical materials, with multiple containers reportedly exploding. ”
Israeli officials denied playing a role in the explosion. Nevertheless, Iranian and US delegations give an indirect nuclear lecture in Vannan, noting that an explosion came to connect the dots.
There is no evidence yet as to what the Iranian Bandar Abbas explosion is doing, that at least 500 people were injured, whether it was an accident, whether it was a sabotage, and who the latter was by whom.
But it happens in the context that many of us predicted… pic.twitter.com/94hlw37kao

For now, talks between Tehran and Washington continue to be siege of Iran’s “maximum pressure.” If that is certainly a sabotage, it fits into the attacks on the critical infrastructure of the Israelis and us, as well as their economic warfare and destabilization strategies.
It wasn’t two weeks ago that the US launched a series of airstrikes at Yemen’s RAS ISA oil port in northwestern Hodeida. The bombing killed at least 80 people and insted hundreds. It also caused continuous disruption in fuel flow at only the main oil terminals controlled by Houthis. Israel was also behind the cyberattack, which quickly purchased the activity in 2020 at one of the terminals at Bandar Abbas port.
The sub-back background regarding the importance of Shahid Rajaee in AFP is as follows:
Shahid Rajae Port is one of Iran’s most important maritime hubs and is located on the north shore of the Strait of Hormuz. It spans 2,400 hectares and features extensive warehouses and storage facilities, and is considered Iran’s largest and busiest commercial port.
The region has been designated as a special economic zone that serves as an important centre for Iran’s import, export and transhydrate operations. Media Local You reports that ports handle about 50% of Iran’s total trade and about 85-90% of all Contoftics.
Economic Fallout
Iranian officials said all oil transport infrastructure in Bandar Abbas was not affected by the explosion, but the economy could be harmed elsewhere as the commercial port of Shahid Rajaei was affected. It could exacerbate existing problems in the Iranian economy. The Iranian economy includes high inflation, which has a particularly strong impact on food prices and is particularly strong influx in which economic growth due to sanctions is weak. Shahid Rajaei processes Iran’s non-oil and gas exports and imports at around 85 pages and is connected to the Iranian cross-border railway network. This is the financial port:
Iranian customs authorities have moved quickly to halt all imports and exports through the port of Afefering, creating an immediate bottleneck for international shipping routes essential to Iran’s economy. According to Iran’s port and maritime agencies, the port’s container terminals will remain closed until a thorough safety assessment is completed.
The Shahid Rajaei subsection appears to be still working.
“Regular operation is underway at Shahid Rajaee Port.”

Still, even a partial shutdown is expected to have a ripple effect.
The financial port platform notes that disruption at Iranian ports could have domino effects on transport patterns in the Middle East and Asia, leading to rerouting positions and longer boring times. Transportation insurance premiums also have sharply risen experiences of vessels operating in or near Iranian waters until stability is restored.
The hope for the land of neoconzionists is that damage to Bandar Abbas will cause economic hardships in Iran and lead to the collapse of the government. This is a dream of a Middle East Forum, where people enjoy death and destruction, and a change of government.
Apart from undermining the regime’s military capabilities, Shahid Rajaee Port is a major trade hub, dealing with 85% of the country’s total load and adoption, believing in the raw materials of electronics, agricultural products and pharmaceuticals. It contributes greatly to Iran’s gross domestic product. The explosion surprised traders and businessmen associated with the administration, disrupting import trade. Now these businessmen will question the credibility of the administration and their ability to create a stable economic territory for its loyalty. Their frustration weakens the economic credibility of the administration and finds and watches it with many people in the industry.
Opposition with the government will increase. Many workers were injured and lost their belongings. Frustration exists to spark another protest calling for a change of government. Even if such protests do not erupt, the explosion near Bandar Abbas strengthens the regime’s perception that it cannot withstand, and its end is near. Leaders of the Islamic Republic are aware of the dangers they face now. The administration’s outlet is a leadership citizen to avoid burning “rumors” that the courts “allow the enemy to take advantage of this situation.”
The explosion acts whether it displays military, economic, or social weaknesses. The coincidence of talks between Iran and the United States on the same day as the explosion increases the perception that the administration is doomed. A day before the explosion, President Donald Trump said in a time interview that Israel would not drag the US into the war with Iran, but that if negotiators fail to reach the deal, the US would lead the charges. Iranians who are ongoing with compassionate Trump regarding Iranian policies and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s stance on the threat to Israel may feel that Bandar Abbas’ chaos is the sars of Iranian people.
Frustration from businessmen and others isn’t necessarily awaiting the current model of Syria, but what do you know?
Naturally, as it became prominent in Iranian trade, the Shahid Cajee port also played a prominent role in the international North-South Transport Corridor (INSC) linking Russia and India.
INSTC will reduce shipping times between Russia and the Persian Gulf by 40%, shorten it to the Suez Channel, reducing its dependence on maritime lanes dominated by the West, but Iran needs stability, international cooperation and needs to fix structural issues at home to achieve this.
Russia You have investigated $1.3 billion to help upgrade the Rasht-Astara Railway, a segment where Iran ruins the rough terrain and holds INSTC from heavier usage.
The Eurasian Development Bank predicts that INSTC could generate $1.5 billion in transportation revenue for Iran by 2030. But that is the case when Tehran can succeed in infrastructure upgrades while overcoming sanctions and other destabilizing efforts. The explosion at Bandar Abbas is an obvious setback.
