Last week saw action from agents and teams, as well as Century 21, ERA Real Estate, The Agency and other industry brands.
Every day, Inman receives a flood of announcements about major teams and industry leaders moving from one company to another. That’s more than we can cover!
So here are some of the biggest announcements from the past few days.
century 21
Century 21 Americana has added Century 21 Hometown Brokers to its network, expanding its footprint from Nevada and Arizona to Montana. C21 Hometown Brokers is led by broker owner Mark Dawson and has been serving the Greater Billings area since 2001.
“This transition allows us to bring Century 21 Americana’s strength, technology and scale to Montana while maintaining the local relationships and leadership that built our success,” Dawson said in an emailed statement. “We’re proud to position ourselves for our next chapter of growth while planting roots in Billings. We have so many great people working here and we’re looking forward to the next 25 years.”
ERA Real Estate
ERA has partnered with broker owner Frank Sivier’s Illinois Real Estate Partners to form a new affiliate in Chicagoland. The 19-year-old firm has rebranded to ERA Partners and has more than 140 agents across multiple offices.
“Joining ERA Real Estate allows us to provide an elevated real estate experience, which ultimately is what our business is all about. About 20 years ago, we realized the need for a company that could do more than just help someone close a transaction,” Sibior said. “We aimed to be an all-in-one resource driven by respect, industry knowledge, and a willingness to serve our clients, rather than the other way around.”
howard hannah
Howard Hanna is strengthening its presence in eastern Ohio with Team Marzo, a five-member team serving the Poland area. Since its launch in 2021, the team has completed more than 623 transactions valued at more than $108 million, earning it a spot as one of the nation’s top 300 real estate teams according to RealTrends.
“Joining Howard Hanna was the right choice for me and the team,” said founder James Marzo. “The company’s support, technology and resources allow us to continue to grow while serving our clients at a high level. Combined with our team’s local knowledge and relationships, we have a strong fit for where we want to go next.”
michael saunders & company
Paul Rosile is the new chief information officer of Sarasota-based Florida indie brokerage firm Michael Saunders & Company. According to the announcement, Rosile will be responsible for the company’s design and lead its infrastructure, applications, and enterprise solutions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paul to Michael Sanders & Company,” said Drayton Sanders, president of the firm. “He brings his years of field experience and especially his comfort level in applying AI to real-world problems to our skillset as we lead our technology team and evolve the way we support the daily needs of our agents and staff.”
simple home
The Bringas Home team joins simpliHōM after four years at LPT Realty. The team is led by founder Justin Bringas and has generated more than $61 million in sales year-to-date. Bringas has been in the industry for nearly 20 years, and his resume also includes Keller Williams and Coldwell Banker.
“We are very excited to partner with a top-level team with a big vision for continued growth,” said Sean Miku, founder and CEO of simpliHōM, in the announcement. “Justin Bringas is exactly the kind of leader we founded simpliHōM. We built this company to help people like him realize that they can achieve whatever their dreams are. And we’re right there for them.”
agency
The agency is currently located in Italy, and the Sardinia agency will open on June 2nd. The California-based luxury brand currently has more than 165 offices in 15 countries, with 27 openings in 2025 alone.
“Sardinia is unlike anywhere else in the Mediterranean,” Mauricio Umansky, CEO and founder of The Agency, said in a press release. “There is a level of authenticity here that is becoming increasingly rare. From the rugged coastline and hidden beaches to the culture, history and pace of life that make this island so special. Today’s buyers are looking for more than just luxury. They want privacy, beauty and genuine connection. Sardinia offers all of that. We are extremely proud to launch our first office in Italy in such an exclusive destination.”
united real estate
United Real Estate has appointed Debbie Tyler as managing director of its Chicago operations. Tyler has been with United Real Estate since 2022, but his career dates back to 1988. During that time, she has served thousands of buyers and sellers in Chicagoland as a top producer agent and former boutique brokerage owner.
“Debbie Tyler brings deep lived experience that helps agents stay focused, grounded in what matters, and build lasting businesses,” Rick Haas, president of United Real Estate, said in a press release. “She understands that productivity is systems, clarity, and consistent habits combined with the right support. Her leadership will strengthen our ability to serve agents at every stage of their career.”
