A Pennsylvania real estate agent has been charged with 150 felonies for possession of child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility. Albert Stroble, 48, of Lower Providence Township, Pennsylvania, was identified after receiving a cyberchip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
In addition to his work as a real estate agent, Strobl also works as a college tennis coach and youth soccer coach.
According to a joint statement from Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Lower Providence Township Police Chief Michael Jackson, NCMEC identified a Dropbox account containing uploaded videos depicting child sexual abuse. These showed “prepubescent and adolescent girls engaging in sexual acts with adults,” including videos depicting children as young as eight being restrained and “forced to engage in sexual acts with adults.”
After executing search warrants on Google, Verizon, and Dropbox, Stroble’s home IP address was determined and a search warrant was obtained. Law enforcement officers seized “multiple electronic devices, including a laptop computer that was found to be used by the defendant in the Dropbox upload.”
Strobl was released on April 15 on $300,000 bail with additional conditions that he have no unsupervised contact with children. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 28 before Magistrate District Judge Kathleen River.
Members of the public with further information are asked to contact Detective Michael Nastasi at 610-539-5901.
According to Stroble’s LinkedIn profile, he has worked for Keller Williams, Pacer Properties, Ignite and most recently Compass in Wayne, Pennsylvania. His name still appears in the search bar on the Compass website, but his agent’s page is currently unavailable.
“While we are reviewing this matter and conducting a parallel investigation, it would be inappropriate for me to comment further,” Stroble’s attorney, Arthur Donato Jr., said in a statement, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
