Lofty launches Homeowner Agent, an AI tool that identifies seller intent in a CRM database and automates lead nurturing to help agents win more properties.
Lofty has rolled out a new AI product designed to help agents mine existing databases to find potential sellers, the company announced Wednesday.
The product, called Homeowner Agent, is the latest addition to Lofty’s Agent AI Operating System (Lofty AOS).
According to the company, the tool monitors contacts already in an agent’s CRM, identifies signals related to potential sales intent, provides personalized real estate and market updates, and automatically nurtures homeowners until they’re ready to engage.
The proposal reflects a growing focus across the real estate technology industry on using AI to not only uncover potential customers, but to take action on them. In Lofty’s case, the company is positioning homeowner agents as a way to unlock listing opportunities that may be sitting in agents’ databases without the need for a separate lead mining platform or home valuation product.
Not a new lead, but a better signal
Lofty said the tool is designed for agents and teams who want to generate more seller business from the contacts they already have, rather than relying solely on spending on new leads.
The system enriches CRM records with homeowner data and provides personalized reports based on factors such as estimated home value, equity position, potential net income, and local market activity.
The company also said the product categorizes contacts into segments such as potential sellers, absentee owners, pre-foreclosure leads and long-term development opportunities. You can also escalate lead status based on behavioral signals, including activities like viewing sold items and adjusting financing scenarios.
When a homeowner takes a more direct step, such as requesting a CMA, requesting a home appraisal, asking for a cash offer, or making a reservation, the system can move that person into the handover stage and pause automated outreach.
Lofty leans toward “agent AI”
Andrew Wild, Lofty’s vice president of growth, said in a statement that the release is part of the company’s efforts to move away from AI tools that only assist agents.
“With the introduction of Homeowner Agent, Lofty continues to lead the industry into a new era of agent AI, where intelligent systems not only assist agents, but proactively drive outcomes,” said Wilde. “With Homeowner Agent, we extend the capabilities of our Agentic AI operating system to give agents a fully autonomous pipeline builder that keeps their database running 3 days a week and always has their eyes on acquiring seller listings.”
The rise of “always on” prospecting
Lofty described Homeowner Agent as an “always-on” pipeline builder that primarily runs on autopilot after initial setup.
The company says the product works within its existing platform, so users don’t need any additional integrations, tools, or logins to use it.
The announcement comes as more proptech companies race to build AI systems that promise to automate entire lead generation, customer communications, and trading workflows.
Lofty bets that looking for seller leads within existing databases, rather than focusing solely on buyer engagement, could be a big opportunity for agents in a competitive listing environment.
Formerly known as Chime Technologies, Lofty is headquartered in Phoenix and focuses its branding on AI-powered productivity tools for brokerages and agencies.
