Oren Alexander, a high-end real estate broker, and his twin, Aron Alexander, a private security executive, were granted bail by a Miami-Dade Circuit Court judge on Friday after being denied bail at their initial court hearing Thursday. However, the brothers, along with their older brother Tal, remain in custody on federal sex trafficking charges.
Oren received a $3 million bond and Aron received a $2 million bond. The bond was secured by the $40 million Bal Harbor mansion of their father, Miami developer Shlomy Alexander. The bond package was approved by Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Roddy Jean and negotiated by the twins’ Miami attorney, Joel Denaro, according to the Miami Herald.
The bond hearing came after the brothers were indicted Wednesday on federal sex trafficking charges after they were accused of pinning down and raping a woman in a high-rise Miami apartment complex. It was decided to be transferred to a location. Both Oren and Aron had pleaded not guilty through their lawyers.
Tal was charged only in the FBI-led sex trafficking investigation and was taken into federal custody on Wednesday. He is scheduled to appear at a hearing in downtown Miami on Friday afternoon.
Oren pleaded with a judge Thursday to allow him to be with his wife, Camila Hansen, when she gives birth, but he was arrested on two separate sex charges by Miami bail bond agent Roy Zemrock. He was sentenced to two $25,000 bail bonds on house arrest charges for assault. Aron received an additional $25,000 bond from Zemrock.
Oren has been issued a stay-at-home order for the alleged rape victims, identified as “MG” and “SM,” and is subject to house arrest terms that require him to wear an ankle monitor, and will not allow him to travel to the hospital when Hansen gives birth. is expected to be permitted. .
Oren and Aron are scheduled to appear before a federal judge in Miami on Monday, their attorneys said.
The charges in Miami are related to three separate alleged rapes in 2016, 2017 and 2021, all of which involved Oren.
The 2017 incident allegedly occurred after a real estate event in Hallandale Beach. Ohad Fisherman and Alon Alexander, friends of the Alexanders and former Official agents, are also said to have been involved in the 2016 incident. In this case, Aron and Oren are accused of raping the victim, and Fisherman is charged with sexual assault for holding the victim down. Fisherman was scheduled to return to Miami on Tuesday from his honeymoon in Japan and agreed to surrender to state authorities on Wednesday.
A new complaint was filed Thursday in New York County Supreme Court, alleging Oren and Aron “brutally raped” the victim, who is only named in the lawsuit as “Jane Doe,” in Miami in 2016. He claimed to have planned and executed it. According to the complaint, the alleged victim met Aron in New York in 2016 through the dating app Bumble, and they met in Miami to celebrate New Year’s Eve the same year.
That night, when I arrived at the luxury condo to meet Aron, Oren and Fisherman were also there. “Shortly thereafter, Plaintiff was taken to a room where Fisherman pinned her down and Oren forcibly raped her while her brother Aron watched from a chair in the corner,” the complaint states. “Aron then forcibly raped the plaintiff.”
Carissa M. Peebles of Morgan & Morgan is representing the alleged victim.
