Real estate software company Lessen has released a new solution targeting friction points in the facilities management space, Inman learned in a Dec. 3 press release.
The multifaceted approach, called Digital FM+, is “an advanced technology solution that transforms a company’s real estate and facilities portfolio from a reactive model to a fully predictive operation, while delivering both cost and operational efficiency,” the company said. states.
By integrating usage data, hardware efficiency, and artificial intelligence, Digital FM+ powers what Lessen calls an “operational excellence center” when making critical facility decisions across different types of real estate portfolios. Establish a centralized database on which to rely.
Lessen specializes in solutions that address the operations of owners and managers of all rental asset classes, from large multifamily communities to commercial warehouses, retail, government, and local governments.
In June, Lessen announced the rollout of CoPilot, a work order clearinghouse powered by an AI chat experience. When a user enters a request or requests an update, CoPilot takes it from there. Lessen trained using more than 15 years of maintenance request data and “millions of work orders.”
Digital FM+ helps customers reduce the expense risk common to invisible maintenance needs by not using historical operating data when considering its value for future capital projects, renovations, or asset dispositions. Helpful. Capturing, analyzing, and feeding daily operational data into AI systems can create more reliable strategic decision-making matrices for facility managers.
As such, specific product features include five-year capital planning resources, pricing models, lifecycle cost analysis, and a preventive maintenance program that can capture real-time data from building monitoring systems.
Maureen Ehrenberg, president of Lessen’s commercial division, said the new product “helps users identify, implement and execute strategies with more confidence.”
“Through intelligent data streams, this solution transforms facility operations from a reactive to a predictive model, ultimately identifying inefficiencies, prioritizing tasks, and optimizing resource allocation in real-time. Build a comprehensive end-to-end maintenance system,” she says.
Lessen acquired equipment maintenance technology company SMS Assist about a year ago, two years after raising $35 million in a Series A round of venture capital.
“Managing assets spread across multiple locations requires great care and control, especially when budgets are tight and costs are rising daily,” Ehrenberg said.
