“Many agents struggle to identify and keep track of rental customers who may sooner or later become buyers,” RentSpree CEO Michael Lucarelli said in a statement. said. “Cold calling can be a very wasteful method when trying to find potential home buyers on the market.”
Through our partnership with Space Coast, RentSpree now boasts a network of over 300 associations and MLSs. Executives said these members typically use ApplyLink, a single-browser solution that automates application collection, review, approval, and other operations critical to securing occupancy.
Homebuyer Insights sends new leads directly to Space Coast members using only existing stable renters. So it’s a warm lead, and it’s more valuable to agents, especially those who have taken the time to provide support to renters.
Brevard County is an area where second homes are being developed by the aerospace industry, but according to the 2020 census, population growth has increased demand for housing, with the number of residents exceeding 600,000.
“RentSpree’s homebuyer insights were developed using data science based on public records such as home ownership and rental application data such as income, employment tenure, and age. , helps renters predict their likelihood of purchasing a home within the next 18 months,” the Los Angeles-based company said in a statement.
RentSpree said in a release that Lucarelli is a frequent panelist at Inman events and has made inroads by encouraging agents to focus on the tremendous value of the rental market.
RentSpree was first founded in 2016 to serve landlords and property managers, but in recent years has gained attention for supporting housing agents working with renters. The company has partnered with multiple listing services to encourage agents to “bridge the gap” with the rental market, creating a way for agents to successfully market their skills to aspiring buyers.
REcolorado CEO Gene Millman said in a May 2024 report that partnering with RentSpree to work with renters increases added value for listing and purchasing agents.
“Renting is generally the entry point into the market for prospective homebuyers,” Millman said. “Enhancing our services with rental technology not only gives agents and brokers new ways to deliver value to their clients, but also streamlines the process of helping renters find their next home. I will.”
