Have you tested AI Overview in Canada before this launch?
Since last year, we’ve been exploring how AI Overview can improve the overall search experience, helping people find information faster and connect to everything the web has to offer. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been testing AI Overview in Canada with a small portion of our search traffic to ensure we maintain a high standard of quality and usefulness. We’ve received positive feedback from this testing and are excited to begin full-scale deployment today.

No, it will be rolled out gradually over the next few weeks. We intentionally take a step-by-step approach, focused on maintaining high standards for search information quality.
What languages does AI Overview support?
Starting this week, if you live in a country that offers AI Overview (such as Canada), you can download it in one of the currently supported languages (English, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish). AI Overview will be available. Although French is not currently supported, we are always working to bring the benefits of AI Overview to more people around the world in their preferred language, and look forward to updates soon.
