Some high school seniors are just a few months into their final year and are starting to think about their future options. Students seeking admission to higher education institutions should consider many factors before planning the layout of their dormitory room. In the coming weeks, Michigan Technological University will help students and their families ease the transition from high school to college by sharing important information about financial aid and paying for college. The program will provide buses for families in Gogebic and Ontonagon counties who plan to attend the presentations. The dinner buffet also includes a kids zone for families with young children. The “Planning and Paying for College” presentation is sponsored by Michigan Technological University, the TRIO Pre-College Program, and Gear Upmichigan Tech. Those wishing to attend the presentation must register by November 8th. See below for details.
