Donald Trump and Kamala Harris remain virtually tied in seven key battleground states, according to the latest Washington Post/Schar School poll. In addition to Georgia, Harris holds a narrow lead in the blue wall states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Trump leads in Arizona and North Carolina, but is tied in Nevada.
The former president was working Sunday at a McDonald’s branch with a fryer, an increasingly personal vendetta and agenda, despite the best efforts of aides to keep him on track. It was the latest bizarre moment in a campaign that is becoming a cycle of bitterness.
The Republican presidential candidate is fixated on the fact that her Democratic opponent worked at one of the restaurants when he was a student.
Meanwhile, CBS News hit back at the former president by repeating false claims that 60 Minutes edited Harris’ answers to make them appear more favorable.
In a statement, the show said the episodes had been cut to be “clear, accurate and to the point” and were in no way “deceptive”.
Meanwhile, Ms. Harris spent the weekend celebrating her 60th birthday, and Mr. Trump raised eyebrows with a vulgar anecdote about golfer Arnold Palmer’s masculinity.

President Trump renews attack on CBS News over Harris’ “60 Minutes” interview
President Donald Trump has renewed his attacks on CBS over Kamala Harris’ interview on the show’s “60 Minutes.”
Here’s what the former president wrote on Truth Social this morning:
When will CBS release the fraudulent interview transcript with Comrade Kamala Harris? They changed her answers to make Kamala seem intelligent and not “stupid as a rock.” This may be the biggest scandal in broadcast history! CBS needs to get the transcript now — the lawsuit has already begun. Ms. Harris couldn’t put two sentences together, so they deleted her answer completely and inserted another sentence. The public has a right to know what was changed to save this totally unqualified presidential candidate from our nation’s voters. She is a threat to democracy!
CBS responded to President Trump’s attack in a statement Sunday. Here is James Liddell’s report:

Trump claims that if Harris wins, the Middle East will be in flames for the next 40 years
This morning on Truth Social, Donald Trump again warns of the threat of World War III if he is not elected in November.
The former president wrote:
Arab voters are so upset that Comrade Kamala Harris, the worst vice president in US history and with a low IQ, is campaigning with “stupid as a stone” warhawk Liz Cheney. There is. The same guy who pushed Bush into his stupid Middle East wars also wants to go to war with every Muslim country known to man. Recall that Liz Cheney lost her House seat by a 40% margin, the largest margin ever for an incumbent. If Kamala is given four more years, the Middle East will be in flames for the next 40 years and your children will go to war, maybe even World War III, but Donald J. Trump That will never happen in the president’s time. charging. Vote for Trump for peace, for our country and for your children!
And he appealed to Christians and gun owners to vote for him.
Christians must register to vote now. Today is the last day to do it. Our country is in crisis! God bless you all! Donald J. Trump
If you want to save your guns, gun owners should register to vote now. The Second Amendment is under siege by Democrats. They want to confiscate your gun. Be smart. Vote! ! !

Vance defends Trump’s ‘enemy from within’ comment about opponents
This morning, J.D. Vance was asked in a Fox News interview why it was “necessary” for Donald Trump to describe Americans who disagree with him as “enemies from within.”
The Ohio senator tried to dismiss the question as just another example of President Trump being outspoken.
“Donald Trump has no filter, and I think that’s one of the reasons why his campaign was so successful, because he didn’t have an underground campaign strategy,” Vance said. “He doesn’t just run with slogans. When people ask him questions, he speaks from the heart.”
