Glenn has been in the real estate industry for 25 years with executive experience in real estate sales and real estate management and legal training in real estate and legal law. Outside the office, Glenn is deeply involved in several real estate organizations, including West Washington Realtists, Seattle Real Estate Alliance and the Black Home Initiative. Because of his work, Glenn was named the National Association of Real Estate Brokers Realty Brokers of the Year in 2021.
“I take this position because real estate professionals perpetuate harm and systematic inequality, and recognize the historical role they have played, especially against the Black community and other minority groups. “We did,” Glenn said in a statement. “Practices such as restrictive real estate contracts, redlines and exclusive opportunities contributed to the long-term harm of both home buyers and practitioners.”
“Legal changes have been made, and the mind and heart are clearly changing, but I don’t think the work is finished,” he added.
Windermere began his formal day trip amid the summer of protest after Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin arrested him for killing George Floyd and selling loose cigarettes. Securities company chairman Objacobi said Floyd’s death and the wider movement of black lives made Windermere realize that more can be done to support the DEI in the company and the communities they serve.

But with the revival of the Black Lives Matter movement, we realized that our roots aren’t as deep as we thought they were. “Jacobi said in an October 2020 blog post. “And for decades, the real estate industry has also been preventing many members of historically marginalized communities from building wealth through homeownership, which exacerbates systemic racism. Windermere’s DEI initiative received the 2024 Innovative Brokerage Award from leading real estate companies around the world.
Jacobi said that Enos’ return to full-time real estate sales has given companies like Target, Walmart, Amazon, McDonalds, Meta, Google and Disney the opportunity to reassess the future of their DEI programs. .
“Following Samantha [Enos]”The return to real estate sales has had a lot of discussion about the future of DEI in Windermere and how we can continue the efforts and goals outlined for the company in 2021,” he said in a statement. . “These debates have intensified over the last few months as businesses across the country are being pulled back from DEI’s commitment.”
“In spite of this trend, we strongly feel that it is important to continue our work to support and promote diversity, equity and inclusion within our company, our industry and homeownership. “I’ll do that,” he added. “And we’re sure Brooks is the right person to lead those efforts.”
Glenn will be responsible for overseeing Windermere’s overall DEI goals and supporting individual Windermere offices with DEI strategies and programs. He will also focus on DEI advancements in the real estate industry through outreach and collaboration.
“Windermere, who is strongly positioned in his commitment to not just supporting the movement, but to be a driving force behind diversity, equity and inclusion, has the potential to inspire others and change communities.” he said. “It’s an honor to do this work with Windermere. I know I’m standing on the shoulders of the giants, to be honest.”
