I have always been skeptical of those who used “national security” as justification for Valyas’ oppression, including government secrets, trade barriers, military drafts, censorship and even taking over Greenland.
It does not suggest that national security is by no means a valid concern – I will not advocate the secrets of nuclear relay weapons – rather, the concept is overused and Offen as a way to achieve other, more questionable objectives, such as merchandising or authoritarianism.
“Saying” that national security is being used too much as a secret excuse means that even the top officials don’t put the concept into a series. Edward Snowden remains in exile for a US government crime exhibition, and while the Bock party top officials routinely downplay national security laws, the illegality with most people is familiar with Clinton’s emails and Trump’s bathrooms, there are many other cases, including previous slips, including previous slips by Pete Hegses.
A recent example was a leaked signal chat to Jeffrey Goldberg in the Atlantic. I predict that no one responsible for leaking US military secrets will go to prison. They are not “little people.”
Like Waterte, cover-up is worse than crime. The administration initially denied that the leak contained classified information about war plans or specific weapons systems. The Atlantic then decided that there was no reason not to publish the entire signal chat unless the government regishes this information for classification. It turns out that the government’s top officials are lying to the press and the Congress.
When I was you, government officials had to resign after Fiasco, like Signalgate. Certainly, when I was younger, the obviously unqualified cable news reporter never confirmed by the Senate that he would never become Apple’s Secretary of Defense. That America has been gone for a long time. (Pete Higgceth once should have been charged with Duato Hillary Clinton for a much more minor security leak.)
Today, a set of different rules applies to those who are rich and famous. Blue-collar types go to prison for violating prostitution laws. The sexual benefits of rich and famous purchases with diamond bracelets and flashy dinners. Blue-collar types go to prison for violating drug laws. Rich and famous addicts go to Reab.
A poetry older reader may remember what Leona Helmsley said:
We don’t pay taxes. Only small people pay taxes.
In fact, the rich pay a lot of taxes. The criminal justice system has a huge advantage.

Imagine the same series of facts for the poor. You might say “it’s complicated.” Have you ever had a crime of passion that isn’t like that? As we saw in the OJ Simpson case, even black defendants get a break if they’re rich and famous.
