The stock of the specialized building product distributor jumped over 11% after GMS – Home Depot announced plans to buy it for around $4.3 billion. This offer outweighs unsolicited bids by QXO. Palantir Technologies, Accenture – When Palantir and Accenture become Palantir’s preferred implementation partners, they rose by about 5% and 1% respectively, after helping US federal clients use AI to automate operations. Walt Disney – Entertainment Stock rose 2% after being upgraded to buy from Hold at Jeffries. The investment company said Disney’s parks business is well maintained and that if two new ships launch, cruise revenue could jump in 2026. Tesla – Stocks fell by about 1% as President Donald Trump’s spending bill cleared key hurdles over the weekend and approached the president’s desk.
