Check out the companies that make headlines in pre-market transactions. Bank Stocks – Stocks in major banks were under pressure Monday as concerns over a possible slowdown in the US had been heavily on them. JPMorgan Chase dropped over 1% along with Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Doordash, Coinbase – Doordash added 3% to the news that the food delivery company will be joining the S&P 500 on March 24th. Meanwhile, Coinbase poured 5% after being snabbed for inclusion in the index. SAMSARA – Software Stock added 1.6% following an upgrade to overweight from Piper Sandler. Analyst James Fish predicts that recent sales pressure on stocks has been largely overdone. Redfin – Real Estate Brokerage has surged more than 75% of pre-market retailers after it announced plans to be acquired by Rocket Companies in a $1.755 billion all-stock deal. The transaction is expected to close in the second or third quarter of this year. NVIDIA – Chipmaker’s stock was pulled back 2% before Bell. This has led to an increase in recent issues with Megacap Tech stock, with stocks falling by more than 9% this year, at around 16%. Cracker Barrel – The restaurant brand rose 1.2% after upgrading the cracker barrels Truist purchases. The company’s turnaround plans have achieved results over the past two quarters. Tesla – The electric car company slid 2% and continued its recent slide. Tesla is currently at the cusp of erasing post-election profits. Oracle – Database Software Company shares fell nearly 2% from revenues expected after Monday’s bell. The stock price has dropped nearly 7% this year, dropping more than 13% in the past month. Novo Nordisk – A Danish pharmaceutical company slipped over 6% after showing that the results of the weight loss drug Cagrisema had a smaller impact on patients than previous tests. Palantir Technologies – Stock prices fell 4%, increasing the recent struggle as the broader markets sold.
