STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Soroptimist International of Staten Island believes in investing in women’s education and career advancement and is once again offering cash grants to women in need to pay for education and training.
Women who work as the primary breadwinners in their families and are seeking financial assistance to continue their education or training can now apply for the Soroptimist Living the Dream: Education and Training Award for Women. Ta.

Soroptimist International of Staten Island will provide the award to the winner, who can then advance to the Soroptimist North Atlantic Regional level and receive up to an additional $5,000. The program culminates with $10,000 in prizes awarded to three finalists.
Winners can use their Live Your Dream Award to offset costs associated with higher education or efforts to obtain additional skills or training. This includes tuition, books, child care, car fare, and other education-related expenses.
