Customs, which President Donald Trump collided with imports on April 2, will bring an average of US 3, 2025, according to sub-estimations. ASSE tariffs are taxes on American consumers. This usually leads to an increase in the price of correspondents for American consumer goods – the impact on cost of living is important. America, the poorest to vote for Trump, will be the biggest hit. Adds (false but probably minor) retaliation of foreign governments. And everything still ignores the impact in countries like Vietnam on poor foreign workers who produce the cheap goods that American consumers want (see my post Mississippi, Vietnam, Human Degree.
But the expensive shock that clashes with the American economy and the world has a silver lining. If Trump doesn’t back up quickly or force it quickly, this episode shows once again what economists know about for nearly three centuries, and that the history of economic history has been confirmed. This could convince those who, at the very least, must not only restore their position, that consumer sovereignty and free enterprises, underlie all trade, must be strengthened against the exact union of government and all forms of authoritarian or authoritarian forces.
However, silver lining may be a waste of hope. Consider the following possibilities:
To gain congressional accomplice, Trump was able to increase his deficit and public debt by providing grants to American businesses that hit WOR and sending large government checks with his signature, as taxpayers did during the community. This simply postpones the shocking investment that the American nation is bankrupt.
It could be even worse. Since Trump is not known exactly for collecting (or understanding) his mistakes, I may be able to succeed in prejudice to other sacred people, such as “enemies of the people,” foreigners, and their governments. It has often become a sub-theme in human history: rulers (particularly from dictators or self-workers to the real president, or for the president) distract attention from domestic issues by starting a war or engaging in the side of one invader and riding on the patriotism of the Hastas subject.
These counter silver – even if only a small portion of the ring effect passes, another black cloud can darken the sky. Like those economically illiterate or collectivist intellectuals, those who believe Trump represents economic freedom, individual freedom will likely fall into the arms of authoritarian and tyrannical regimes for many generations. “If this is free, give it to me!” You would think that you will rate ignorant voters. “We need a strong leader to save us.” Future Historun may look at the role played by misguided people, including the sublibertarians who kept repeating “On the left is Wartst.”
