Authentic tacos with a twist in Seminole Heights
FOX 13 photojournalist Jason Wright takes a look at the unique cuisine at Extreme Tacos, a family-owned Mexican restaurant in Seminole Heights.
Seminole Heights, FL – Extreme Tacos has been serving the Seminole Heights area with authentic Mexican food since 2017. Chef Uzi Ramirez highlighted authentic Mexican cuisine on FOX 13 News.
Ramirez said the restaurant’s “stoner burritos” weigh more than a pound and are more than a foot and a half long. Your favorite meat, rice, beans, and more come wrapped in two 14-inch flour tortillas.

Ramirez said her mother and aunt make the fresh corn tortillas by hand every morning. He buys tomatoes and onions and makes guacamole and salsa every day.

Chef Ramirez says he has always had a passion for cooking and providing steady work for his family.

“It’s literally a dream come true. It’s amazing to be able to work with my family, see them every day, and be in this neighborhood,” Ramirez said.
This family-run business welcomes everyone. “It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like or anything else. We’re just here to provide fresh food to everyone,” Ramirez said.
