Realtor.com has acquired ZenList, a joint home search app, according to an early morning announcement on Monday.
ZenList, launched in 2016, will allow buyer agents and their clients to search for properties together. ZenList also offers an in-app communication system. The system allows agents and home buyers to instantly share their lists, exchange notes about future homes, and map tour itineraries using Google Maps. The app also provides an agent dashboard. Agents can view the list that the client has viewed, saved, and submitted inquiries.
ZenList pulls property information directly from multiple listing services (MLSS) and partners with several major MLSS and brokerage companies, including Houwzer, Baird & Warner, and the San Francisco Association of Realtors (SFAR) MLS. The app currently has a user base of over 35,000 agents.
The app received a 4-star review from Inman Tech reviewer Craig Rowe in 2022. CraigRowe said the Zenlist interface would make agents “the ability to engage home shoppers and encourage communication within the listing space” and “better.” [allows them] Create a story centered around the properties and the services they offer. ”
