California proptech leader RealScout has released three updates aimed at helping agents optimize their MLS searches and follow up with clients more easily and accurately.
Two months after rolling out its “biggest update ever,” California-based proptech leader RealScout is back with major upgrades to its AI search, scout score, and contact enrichment products.
RealScout co-founder and CEO Andrew Flachner said the update is focused on helping agents keep prospects top of mind by closing the gaps that lead to weak follow-through, such as inefficient listing searches, difficulty determining the best time to contact buyers or sellers, and incomplete contact information.

“Agents win in relationships, but consistent follow-up is difficult at scale,” he said in a prepared statement Friday. “The Winter 2026 release is designed to make the basics easier. We use artificial intelligence to build relevant searches faster, identify who’s hot, and fill in the missing data that prevents us from delivering at scale.”
AI Search, now widely available since its early access release in December, takes a client’s wish list and turns it into advanced, multi-list service-specific alerts. Agents can review search criteria, edit them, and save them as alerts, templates, or search links. The company said beta testing of the product saved agents at least 10 minutes of time on MLS searches and “spent more time having real conversations” with customers.
The next feature, Scout Score, assigns potential clients an engagement score from 0 to 100 based on their RealScout activity. Scores are updated nightly and after key actions such as responses to a survey regarding immediate home buying or selling plans or a significant increase in home search activity. Agents can use the score to prioritize which clients to follow up with first.
Rounding out the series of updates are enhancements to Contacts. This will help you enter key contact details such as name, phone number, and address, as well as owner and tenant information and length of residence (if available).
“A huge liberation: Once contact details are entered, agents can reach people more consistently and create home value alerts and relevant market activity updates, delivering homeowner value that captures prospects and keeps agents top of mind,” the announcement reads.
Seth Price, chief marketing officer at RealScout, said the update is not intended to be a “novelty” but rather to provide effective solutions to help agents cut through the noise and build relationships that strengthen their business.
“The next wave of AI is not about novelty, but about making follow-up easier, more personal and more effective,” he said. “This release moves agents from search to signals. Setup is faster, priorities are clearer, and data is improved so every touchpoint is more timely and relevant.”
