The former city school building, now an apartment complex, has a new owner.
The Post-Journal and Observer analyze real estate sales in Chautauqua County, most recently looking at transactions from Aug. 16 to Aug. 21.
During this period, Branch Apartments, LLC sold 150 Prospect Street in Jamestown to EER Enterprise, LLC of Lakewood for $950,000.
There is a plaque on this apartment building indicating that it was the location of Branch 9 in 1892.
There were other commercial sales during this period.
PW Realty of Fredonia LLC of Silver Creek sold 1200 Central Avenue, Dunkirk and 355 Central Avenue, Fredonia to 355 Fredonia, Englewood Cliffs, NJ for $660,000. Part of the building is located in the village of Fredonia, and another part is located in the city of Dunkirk. The plaza is home to many businesses, including The Pawn Shop, LA Nails, COPE Foundation, and the School of Martial Arts.
Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company, Buffalo, sells parcels at 20 W. Main St. and W. Falconer St., Falconer, to BAPA 20 W. Main St Re LLC, Horseheads, New York, for $325,000. Sold at. The former M&T Bank is proposed to become a Dunkin Donuts store.
Scott and Suanne Campbell sold 25 W. Main St., Frewsburg, to DBT Homes LLC, Frewsburg, for $95,000. This is the location of LE Tax Service, currently located at 51 Frederick Blvd. in West Ellicott. The Frewsburg building is now a barbershop called Frewsbarber.
The largest sale during this period was of private residences. 223 Lakeside Drive in Ellery sold for $1.75 million.
