Former NHL goaltender and entrepreneur Patrick Dobige is back in the spotlight with a major real estate deal in Aspen. According to the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Dovisi recently sold the Colorado mansion he bought for $48.75 million in April for $55 million, making a profit of $6.25 million.
The property, located in downtown Aspen, is not listed on the market and the identity of the buyer has not been disclosed. Riley Warwick of Douglas Elliman brokered both transactions.
Mr. Dobige, founder of the environmental services company Green for Life (GFL) Environmental, purchased the 8,000-square-foot property from longtime residents Ken and Sheri Alden Sack. Before selling, the Sacks renovated the house.
Sources familiar with the transaction told the Journal that Dovisi made additional upgrades after acquiring the property, including adding an eighth bedroom.
This sale further strengthens Dobigi’s impressive track record in Aspen’s luxury real estate market.
