Opendoor has launched its latest marketing campaign, “Confessions,” as part of its ongoing mission to redefine how homeowners perceive off-season sales, the company told Inman.
The ‘Confessions’ campaign, which was officially launched on Monday, features property confessions from estate agent Debbie and property executive Darren. Each spot uses a true-crime documentary style that delivers humor while debunking the myth that selling a home in the winter is a bad idea.
“Our latest campaign challenges the long-held belief that selling a home during the winter months should be difficult,” an Open Door spokesperson told Inman in a statement. This ad highlights how easy it is for homeowners and real professionals to sell open door during the winter. The “traditional real estate off-season” provides more choice and control for everyone. ”
While homeowners have traditionally been hesitant to list their homes during the fall and winter months, Confessions is confident that Opendoor’s platform offers a reliable solution year-round, on a timeline that works best for them. Reassure the seller that you will.
The “Confessions” campaign is a partnership between Opendoor and award-winning New York-based independent agency L&C. Confessions will be expanded through paid media to include major national and local news outlets that feature true crime programming.
“We are grateful to our creative partners at L&C for taking a playful and unique approach to a true crime documentary,” David Cornes, chief marketing officer at Opendoor, told Little Black Book.
Gian Carlo Lanfranco, Founder and CCO of L&C, said: What makes this idea so insightful and powerful is that it demystifies this common real estate industry consideration in a creative way. ”
