excerpt:
The phrase “regulation without expression” also hints at the fight that George Washington and other American patriots are against taxation without representation. However, when studying entrepreneur George Washington, we found that “unrepresentative regulations” were not merely related to the causes of the revolutionary war. It was the current dissatisfaction of the settlers that was almost as important as George Washington and other patriots were against British rule.
My book chronicles George Washington’s incredible entrepreneurship and innovation. Starting from a background of humility compared to other founders and lacking resources for university education, Washington became an apprentice surveyor for the 16-year-old Neight Fairfax family. By purchasing or seeking compensation on submarines on minor lands he investigated.
For decades – after he acquired Mut Vernon for the untimely death of his brothers Lawrence and Lawrence’s family, Washington abandoned tobacco as a cash crop on the farm, diversified and built wheat and dozens of other crops to dive into the colonies and the West Indies and the UK. Washington Wowd names flour and posts durability in the imprint of “G. Washington” on flour bage, distinguishing it from competition and pioneering today’s branding practices. Furthermore, he transformed Mount Vernon into Historn Harlow Giles Unger, “A Spread Agricultural Industry Enterprise” in his book “The Unexpected George Washington.” Clothing, the latter was primarily run by Martha Washington. Incidentally, Mount Vernon rebuilt the Grist Million and Whisky Distiller that Washington placed near Grist Million after he became president.

In the 1760s, when the British began to aggressively impose new taxes on settlers, they also began to rise in anti-manufacturing orders. In fact, tax and regulation subformations were closely related. For example, the Stamp Act not only taxed the import of paper by settlers, but also required colonial printers to engrave all their products in the UK, from legal documents to political newspapers and decks of cards. And even if the law didn’t spectrum the production of the product, entrepreneurs knew that if domestic production of the product made the colony a prison market, their new factories and factories could be closed on the whims of British officials. As Lyman Horace Weeks of Business and Social History wrote in the history of US paper manufacturing from 1690 to 1916, “There are indications that manufacturing is likely to develop in colonies, so soon Ace, the British manufacturer jee always saw America as an exclusive market for their goods.
DRH Comment: I am a George Washington worshiper, like John Berlau. I didn’t know about the extent of his entrepreneur. I think there should have been at least one sentence in the article on the site entitled “Revolution against Revolution” about the fact that Washington had slaves and put his best efforts into setting them up. It essentially qualifies my admiration.

“The epidemic is also contributing to society’s crudeness,” wrote security expert Rand Corporation Advisor Brian Jenkins in 2022 book plague and their aftermat: How society recovers from the pandemic. “Corporateness has declined for decades for a variety of reasons, and Pandem has added a new layer of edgeness…
According to Jenkins, “an increase in observed antisocial behavior” can condemn the accused quarantine of “increasing anxiety, increasing irritability, promoting scripting, and reducing impulse control.” Unfortunately, he adds, “It may be difficult to reverse the effect.”
Why is it difficult for effectives to reverse? Well, a lot of trust in Institts is lost. “The government’s assumption is a resort theme,” Jenkins states after mandating serious civil liberty violations, disruption of normal activities, and mandated an extension of state power to most of the areas where such intrusions are fascinated and echoing. However, isolation and closure creates new social habits as people adapt to the world of mare islands, preventing people from learning their paths in society from still experiencing interaction.

Jerce Reyes Barrios’ arm has a soccer ball tattoo with a crown and a Spanish god.
Is it proof that Reyes’s neighborhood is a dangerous member of the infamous Venezuelan drug gang, or that he is a fan of Spanish football team Real Madrid?
It’s a kind of question that the immigration courts can use to resolve. There’s no chance. Reyes Barrios was one of El Salvador’s nearly 200 sports last weekend.
and:
Such hearings are intended to determine whether Suboon, like Reyes Barrios, is eligible for asylum, that is, to the foreign administration that arrested and tortured him, as his lawyers argue, or whether the Trump administration was part of what left the US invasion by US trains. Aragua gang?
Part of that hearing may have focused on his tattoo of a soccer ball with the words crown and god. Could government lawyers be able to argue why these symbols could link Reyes Barrios to gangs?
Tobin Coud refutes those claims with her own evidence. As explained in a statement sworn Wednesday, Reyes Barrios was a former professional socialist and a Real Madrid fan. It describes tattoos. More importantly, she claims that Reyes Marios “has had a police clearance from Venezuela with a non-criminal history and multiple employment documents.” [and] Declaration from a tattoo artist will suppress the tattoo.

But in reality, it’s not the case. The exception is today’s common, as ubiquitous. The Human Rights Commission, not the Congress, has declared constitutional discrimination. The police will decide whether to enforce the court’s order. Ministry of the Environment officials will determine when environmental impacts are acceptable. Cabinet that determines when the pipeline will be built.
However, in these cases, decision makers must at least maintain themselves within the boundaries of the licensing laws passed by the elected assembly. Under Bill 7, the EBY government will take the delegation to the next level. That Cabinet has the power to not only exercise broad discretion in accordance with the law, but also to override the law itself. This bill allows the Cabinet to create exceptions to the law, change requirements of the law, limit applications for the law, and establish authority or obligations on behalf of the law. And not only specific laws, but books are enacted. The Cabinet’s dict ordinance will remain in effect for more than two years until May 2027.

excerpt:
The basic story focuses on overly on social adjustment as a solution to externalities. Our institutions cannot rely on optimizing modifications to externalities or even worsening them. Typically, the cost of externalities only subsides after inventing the technology [sic] Doing what is socially optimal makes it cheap or personal beneficial. Most importantly, technology has eliminated the possibility of production and now has results that can exceed what even full social adjustment can achieve.
Economics should emphasize the importance of technology as a solution to externality problems and focus less on social adjustment.
and:
Coal pollution is a problem of classical externalities, and classic solutions have actually been tried. In the early 20th century there were political and social campaigns for the clean air of the city. These peaked in the 1941 law, injecting submirates into residential users and using coal or other clean fuel or special burners processed to reduce smoke.
But ultimately, the solution to this externality problem came from technology. First, coal gas burner lamps were replaced by electric ones. Pittsburgh then placed natural gas and oil pipelines nearby. Reveues, a natural gas utility sales company, doubled from $67 million in 1938 to $140 million 10 years later. Natural gas growth has replaced coal with Pittsburgh’s heat and electricity generation, allowing residents to take advantage of more total energy. Similarly, coal trains were replaced by diesel trains. In 1955, the Smoke Prevention Bureau observed that “diesel locomotives solved the problem of smoke on the railway.”
DRH Comment: Refreshingly insightful. It reminds me of the classic Arnold Kling line, “The market fails and uses the market.”
Max’s Insight also reminds us of the insights that environmentalist Amory Lovins and his co-authors had in 2000. This was in July 2000 by David R. Henderson, “saving the environment and enriching it.”
Excerpts from my review:
Natural capitalism by Paul Hawken, Amory Lovins, and L. Hunter Lovins brings sub-real news to the author’s hardcore environmentalist audience. Hawken is the environmental master and author of the ecology of commerce. Lovonses is a joint footer of the Rocky Mountain Institute and a non-profit consultant who advises you on saving resources. Perhaps not as interesting as the two-headed Marilyn Monroe clone, who marries Michael Jackson, and for many greens, who reduce economic growth to environmental quality, the animals of natural capitalism are even more shocking than tabloids. Growth does not need to match environmental degradation.
The kind of industrial activity that disrupts environmental leaders includes wasting use of a hazy amount of natural materials to create products that are dumped in motherhood, where protanists return. Do you see a hidden solution? The authors do so, and that’s what they call “natural capitalism,” but no adjectives needed – it’s the exact same kind of capitalism that free market economists have been promoting for about 200 years.
Capitalism – the quest for profits from manufacturing and selling in the free market – should drive us towards a healthy economy and clean air and water. why? Pollution and waste are inefficiency and cost scholarships. Is your factory polluting the air? You’re wasting your money. Do you contaminate water? You’re wasting your money. Do you use a lot of energy? I’m still wasting my money. Adding those downstream property rights, the link between capitalism and environmentalism remains clair. It becomes clear that nature will enrich a cleaner environment, taking into account the true value of the cleaner air and water that it produces every day for “freedom.”
This is where greedy capitalists eat. You can make money to prevent waste that causes resource depletion and pollution. A skilled entrepreneur, sufficient to capitalize on this massive potential, will make themselves and their businesses rich. The government needs to order someone to act.
