The Community of Madrid is leading the European project “Regional Innovation Valley for the Circular Economy” (RIV Circular), which aims to foster innovation in the management of the circular economy. Funded by the Horizon Europe Programme, the project has a budget of 22.8 million euros and is a collaboration between the European Commission and six participating regions: Community of Madrid, Inlandet (Norway), Hauts-de-France (France) and Brandenburg (Germany). ), Kosice (Slovakia), Kiev (Ukraine).
To present the project, an opening ceremony was held at Canal Isabel II, attended by Cristina Menéndez, Director General of Cooperation with States and the European Union.
