Check out the companies making the biggest moves in after-hours trading: JB Hunt Transport Services — Shares of the trucking and logistics company rose more than 12% in after-hours trading on the back of strong financial results. In the third quarter, JB Hunt had earnings of $1.76 per share on revenue of $3.05 billion. Meanwhile, an analyst survey compiled by LSEG shows earnings per share of $1.46 and sales of $3.03 billion. United Airlines — The company’s stock fell more than 2% in after-hours. Although revenue exceeded expectations, third quarter revenue fell short. United Airlines expects adjusted fourth-quarter earnings to be between $3 and $3.50 per share. Hewlett Packard Enterprise — Shares of the cloud services provider fell about 8% after the company gave a weaker-than-expected fiscal year 2026 outlook. The company expects earnings of $2.20 to $2.40 per share on an adjusted basis, with sales growth of 5% to 10%. The company also announced a 10% increase in its 2026 dividend and a $3 billion increase in share buybacks. Becton Dickinson — The medical device maker’s stock fell nearly 6% after the company announced that Chief Financial Officer Chris Dell’Orefice will retire effective Dec. 5. Becton Dickinson said it will conduct a search for a permanent replacement, but has named Vitor Roque, senior vice president of finance and operations, as interim CFO. Zion Bancorp — Zion Bank stock fell nearly 4% after Zion announced it would write down $50 million to cover two loans from borrowers facing legal action. We also have a $60 million reserve related to loans made by our California division. The company said it intends to sue to recover the funds. Salesforce — Shares of the software maker rose more than 4% after announcing new financial goals for the coming years. Salesforce expects sales to accelerate to more than $60 billion by 2030, beating the $58.37 billion consensus of analysts surveyed by LSEG.
