How did you get started in the real estate industry?
I got into real estate because I saw an opportunity to help people. From the beginning, I had a passion for guiding my clients through one of the most important decisions of their lives: buying or selling a home.
My Air Force background and having owned several small businesses in Southern California and Lake Tahoe have provided me with strong leadership and financial skills. These experiences have been invaluable throughout my career as an agent, manager, and executive.
This career has allowed me to provide valuable advice and support and help people achieve their dreams of homeownership.
How did you choose a securities company?
I chose a brokerage because I wanted to provide the best real estate platform to serve my clients. When I joined Coldwell Banker Realty, I was impressed by the company’s reputation, the quality of training and support, and the advanced technology and tools offered.
My previous Air Force and small business management experiences have taught me the importance of a strong support system and reliable resources. These resources are critical to providing excellent service to our clients and effectively supporting our team.
What do you wish more people knew about working in real estate?
I want more people to understand that working in the real estate industry requires endless education. Laws and markets are constantly changing and it is important to stay informed.
This job requires continuous learning and adaptability to provide the best possible service to our clients. It’s a dynamic field, so there’s always something new to learn.
What are five things you want our readers to know about you and your brokerage?
We have the No. 1 market share on Oahu, which means we do more than any other company. We dominate the $2 million+ market, more than double that of our closest competitor. We are known for the best training on the island. Our managers average over 20 years of experience. We always do the right thing!
What is your top tip for newly licensed brokers?
Take care of your employees, agents, and customers, and adhere to the principle of “doing the right thing.”
