The American Council of Immigration does not approve or oppose candidates for elected offices. We aim to provide an analysis of the impact of elections on the US immigration system.Texas leaders cannot legislate immigration policies from a place of political stance and deep misunderstanding. Before drafting new laws, or reverting long-standing laws, they need to first understand the basics of how our immigration system works and who will affect them. On June 4, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit to override the Texas Dream Act, a bipartisan law that allowed certain undocumented students to pay tuition fees…

From isolated learners to co-ecosystems Isolated learners cannot create appropriate repeat learners with durable results. If learning is designed as a standalone event or push of one-way content, it becomes a transitional and transactional, completed and forgotten. It’s not how real growth occurs. But when learners immerse themselves in the power of their community, everything changes. Learning is fixed to common and shared goals. Peer learning will be unlocked. It develops confidence. Participation will deepen. People don’t just consume knowledge. They apply it, refine it, and extend it through the insights of others. The same applies to customers. Benchmark: Easy…
Econrib’s article by Peter Bettke on “Political Economy, Virginia: The Journey of James Buchanan” shows how political philosophy and economics were enveloped in Buchanan’s work. It also reminded me of the interesting two-part interview with Jeffrey Brennan. The two economists often work together to co-author the Constitutional Political Economy (1985), the reason for the rules, and provide a central constitution and a summary of the constitution. (This classic book is available online. I recently reviewed it for Econlib.) This video outlines more conversations than technical in 2013 of Dix’s work. In Vray End of the two-hour conversation, Buchanan argues about…

Build custom training solutions without coding The Learning and Development (L&D) team has evolved far beyond traditional roles. Today, they are responsible for not only delivering training, but also enabling organizational growth, employee performance, and transformation of the strategic workforce. With increased responsibility and rising learner expectations, L&D teams need to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency across the board. However, relying entirely on IT departments and expensive third-party software often creates bottlenecks. That’s where low-code/no-code (LC/NC) platforms emerge as powerful ally. These platforms allow L&D professionals to build, customize and deploy digital solutions without deep technical expertise.…

The model is essential. The reality is crazy complicated. Mapping all the positive interactions is completely useless and completely useless to underestimate the world. Insert and we flatten things to important causal variables and use them to help us make predictions and decisions. However, models eat in a variety of shapes and sizes. Which model is useful depends on what you are trying to do. For example, consider the following two maps: Both of these maps are in the same region. My employer is Nichols State University in Thibodeau, LA. The first of these is the maps on our website.…
Eve here. It’s hard for Angau to say anything bad about Trump’s Golden Dome Pork Project. Haig Hovaness has tried, but as this post shows, it’s very brunt to add. Matthew Van, professor of energy, national security and foreign policy practice, and Harvard Kennedy School; Originally published in conversation President Donald Trump’s idea about the “Golden Dome” missile defense system has a range of potential strategic dangers for the US. The Golden Dome aims to protect the United States from ballistics, cruises and high-sonic missiles, and the missiles were launched from space. Trump aims to be fully operational before missile…
