Every day, Inman receives a flood of announcements about major teams and industry leaders moving from one company to another. That’s more than we can cover!
So here are some of the biggest announcements for 2026.
Compass: Town Realty Chicago, a 15-year-old independent brokerage firm, has joined Compass. The seven-agent team will rebrand as Town Group, and its office will serve as Compass’ first physical location on Chicago’s South Side. Team leaders Meg Marenin and Matt McGinnis have more than 30 years of combined real estate experience and specialize in Southside real estate, with the team on track to record $30 million in sales in 2024.
Douglas Elliman: Heather Domi, a prominent East Coast broker, has returned to Douglas Elliman for the first time in 10 years. The broker has more than $2 billion in lifetime sales and leads the Heather Domi team in Manhattan. Domi is the founding chair of the New York Residential Agent Continuum (NYRAC) and helped launch the first chapter of the American Association of Realtors.
Red Key Realty Leaders: Industry veteran Dan Brassil has joined Red Key Realty Leaders, an independent brokerage firm with four locations in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Brassil has more than 15 years of experience and $169 million in lifetime closed sales.
Rodeo Realty: LA-based boutique brokerage firm Rodeo Realty has strengthened its team with the addition of five agents: Brett Kleiman, Claudio Pena, Tammy Delwarte, Viktorya Hovhannisya, and Michael Ehrhart. The firm has more than 1,200 agents and brokers in 12 offices in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Side: Side has named Nik El Tawil, a veteran of the Arizona real estate industry, as managing broker for its statewide partners. El Tawil has an impressive career including stints at Douglas Elliman Real Estate and The Agency.
