Maine child care worker and local TV crew bring show ‘Fairy House’ to life

Holly McLachlan, owner of Chickadee Infant and Toddler Care, created Chickadee TV. McLachlan also plays the main character, a fairy, on the show Fairy’s House. Chickadee TV’s entire production staff is from Maine. This set was created by Connor Perry, who worked at the Children’s Museum in Portland. McLauchlan’s costume was made by one of the nursery parents, a seamstress from E Lynn Design. Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers are from Bar Harbor. Each doll featured in the show was handcrafted for a fairy house. Chickadee TV has a team of early childhood experts who carefully create educational content for young children. The show is expected to be completed by summer 2025.
