The US and friends may be heading down the road to Turkey-Aramenia-Azerbaijani sandwiches along Iran’s northern border, but one is still working hard in the Caucasus of the Crosshairs. And Georgia is in their hearts.
Last week, the US Helsinki Commission held a hearing entitled “From Partners to Issues: Georgia’s Anti-American Turn.”
Witnesses included Spooko Georgian’s “President” and 2025 Kissinger Felow in DC-based McCain Institute Salome Zourabichvili. She tried to lead the revolution of colour following the election in Georgia last year, but Evite was removed from the office and continues to insist that she is still a legitimate president.
Meanwhile, the George Andream Party continues to control the country. Previously a US-led Western ally, he pursued Tias friendly with his big Northern neighbors and sought Chinese investment. And to go on this path of sovereignty, it was passed to the Foreign Agent Act last spring. Legal requirements and media that receive more than 20% of funds from overseas to register with the government as such. The EU recently rolled back rules regarding NGOs to the Georgia government until August 31st or lost its visa-free travel privileges. Georgian Dream responded by freezing bank accounts of prominent pro-EU NGOs. The government may not be plagued by the threat, but they continue to influence the streets.

And Georgia’s dreams evite the desire to have a strong connection with both the East and West, and are above the list of Washington’s enemies, which operates under the us or against us-us-us-us-us-us-creed. The Helsinki Commission only broadcast the message loudly and clearly and gave reasons to hold the latest hearing.
Georgia was 11 core partners and beacons of freedom in the Caucasus. Today, the ruling Georgian Dream Party is pulling the country back into Russian trajectory and deepening its ties with China and other US enemies. Over the past few years, George Andreem has further undermined Georgia’s sovereignty by crippling Georgia’s facilities and seeking Chinese investment, blocking US businesses from central corridor trade and access to rare earth minerals in Central Asia… This hearing examines the global consensus of Georgia’s Strize global khon ken. Witnesses also explore US policy options.
It is quite obvious at this point, but it must be pointed out that freedom is not actually defined by submission to Washington. The truth is that the Georgian Dream won the election, and while the West is largely neoliberal and Zionist, it seeks to regain sovereignty by restraining Western NGOs, which have played a major role in Georgia since the 1990s. Also, I don’t want to be sucked into another conflict with Russia. This is because they alleged that their birth put pressure on Georgia to open a “second front.”
But back to the Helsinki hearing and their important mission, what are the policy options in the US?
According to the witness at hand, if you’ve heard this, stop me. The answer is sanctions.
Specifically, they hope to pass Georgia’s mobilization and strengthening options to buff the Accountability, Resilience and Independence (Megobari) Act, which calls for government officials that undermine Georgia’s safety and stability. ”

The Megobari Act passed the House of Representatives in May with 349-42 votes, but is happening in the Senate due to unstable opposition from Oklahoma’s Mark Wayne Marin. I was a critic of the Georgia government’s voice regarding the handling of border resources, the treatment of border resources of the Texas-based oil and gas companies.
However, as Frontera’s relationship with Tbilisi has improved, Marin’s criticism has softened and he has worked well to remove the Megobari Act from the massive legislative package. This is Marine talking to the hill:
“It’s no different to being a company… If we invest there, they need to threaten them to be distracted.”
Marine may only oppose it because of its comfort with the border, but it is unclear that achieving ascedes from bringing Georgia closer to Russia and China will achieve ascedes, so ye are the point. Certainly, China is already filling the void soon, as Western investment in the country has been deciphered.
One case that is done for sanctions – from the perspective of Washington Neocons – is to increase the division of the country and potentially create openings for further destabilization. The country has already seen street violence between supporters of Georgia’s dreams and anti-government protesters.
Ukraine, Inc. For work?
What was not discussed at the Helsinki hearing was a more “slack” option. ASE Secret activities are already underway, and involve Washington’s favorite new terrorism training and export hub in Ukraine. It already supports Takfili deoxidation removal forces that are consistent with Syria, Africa and other US. And there are increasing signs of it appearing in Georgia.
Last year, Tbilisi began cracking down on returning members of the Georgian Legion, a fighting anti-Russian mercenary in Ukraine.
But if recent details from the explosive investigation are indications for Georgia, the government is working on it for that. Georgia’s National Security Services recently arrested two Ukrainian citizens on charges of illegally buying, storing and transporting explosives. During inspection, authorities discovered 2.4 kilograms of hexogen hidden in the stunning cover-up of the vehicle. According to investigators, the driver was given an explosive approaching date that reinvigorated the protest that you have a portion of your daily life scholarship.
Why is Georgia important?
Tina Kidashelli, former Georgia Minister of Defense (2015–16), provided a useful explanation at the Helsinki hearing.
Georgia is important to the US, Europe and the international community for three main reasons.
STIS Geographical Location
That strategic connection
STI examples of democracy
If you discount the third point for obvious reasons, there are the first two points. More details about Khidasheli are as follows:
Georgia is located in the heart of the corridor – the modern Silk Road connecting the east and west, north and south, which bypasses Russia and Iran.
Although we are a small country, our biggest advantage is that we are our gateways and bridges, connecting Central Asia and European markets through pipers, railways and ports.
This is not just a trade route – the corridor of Fredom. It is a path that allows goods, energy, data and people to travel without the typical political pressure or horror mail from the south.
The central corridor is not an alternative – it is the only viable path. It is practical and politically sound to the US and its allies… Without Georgia, the corridor of freedom cannot exist – the route will be closed and the doors will be opened to Russia, Iran and China. ”
Kidasheri may be partly correct. It depends on what you think the true Urthunkan is in the Caucasus. Are they really there to build the hallway and control the logistics? How much do they really magically replace Russia, China and Iran as regional security and economic authority?
Kidasheri’s argument is far from what other opposition members of Georgia said the Trump route (trips) for international peace and prosperity were not in their mouths. The argument was that Georgia would become irrelevant to the West. Now it was in the corridors that were across Azerbaijan and Turkey, and potentially beyond that. If that’s all.
Washington may have increased South Caucasus invasions and incited local flames on trips, but it does not change geographical or economic realities.
Russia is economically and militarily dominant in the region. Iran isn’t that late. It is essential as China’s increasing advantage in the global supply chain. And it is the ultimate intervention in building something like Georgia’s Black Sea port, and the West is armed.
Trade between Georgia and Russia, China and regional partners warn economic abolition groups with the EU and the US. This is a national import:

At the same time, the war in Ukraine makes Georgia a more attractive transport country. China is increasing its investment in Georgia as part of its efforts to increase trade route options if others fall victim to a destabilization campaign.
I don’t think even Toho in Washington is paranoid to believe that it can offer a more attractive alternative to Caucasian populations. They have already lost that fight and there is no reason to hope for the dynamics to change, but what the US can offer instead is destabilization and destruction. I hope they set fire to rivals’ backyards and catch the house too.
As I recently wrote, Tripp is a step in that direction of the South Caucasus, but as Tripp can simply avoid, there is not much continuity between sovereignty and stable Georgia. What we see in Georgia is that work continues in the northern part of the region as well.
